Optimization and other suggestions about adaptation of mac version
bug: at the position where the outline is added, the cursor cannot be moved left and right with the keyboard only, this should be a mac version bug
Suggestions: 1. The mind mapping function is really needed. The way to make and import using other software is very silly, and the pictures will float on the lines of the notebook, which is unacceptable!

Unrestricted zoom size and position of page
I love Goodnotes 5 and use it to annotate the lecture powerpoint pdfs. However, I always found it difficult to write on the right edges since I cannot place my hand comfortably on the ipad screen.
It will be great if the minimum zoom size of a page is not limited to the height or width of the page and the position of the page is not snapped to the edge of the screen. Then, I can move the right edge of the page to the center of the screen and write on it with my right hand placed on…

devide page within a document
Allow "deviding" one page within a document into two separate ones.
For instance; if there is a page with two excercises on it (1&2), it would be very helpful if you could "cut" or "divide" the page into two separate (smaller) pieces. This allows you to do exercise 1 right under the instructions, if there is not enough space to do so.1 vote -
PDF document on Goodnotes page.

Remove toast message after undo
Remove the banner on top after undo, as ist distracts while working, without any benefit. As soon as I undo, I notice the change in the content anyways.

Thank you for developing such an useful app! I use goodnotes to take notes for my lecture. I write on my books or ppts and sometimes I want to add same-size template but with plain background so that it look like a continous work. So, I manually add present template and then add plain white image.
Can you please add an extra fuction such as adding same-size template with plain white background??

Saving past edits/version
Saving past edits/versions like Google Drive does.
Recently, things I wrote in GoodNotes have randomly disappeared, and they would only sometimes reappear. It's fine if they disappear when I know exactly what I wrote, but if it's something I copied from another part of a document or from another document altogether, and it randomly disappears, then it becomes a problem. A possible solution would be the ability to access past versions (like Google Drive) to retrieve what I copied/cut.

Quick defeat of iPad auto screen lock
Some apps (such as TimeZero navigation s'ware) have an in-app configuration option that allows the app to keep the iPad screen active, even without user activity. I think GN needs this feature.
I often transcribe from my GoodNotes, with the iPad propped up in front of my desktop computer screen (my hand writing is too rough for auto-text conversion and sometimes I write in a private shorthand).

Better keyboard support
can yall make it more similar to like how onenote allows you to create bullet points and overall a better typing experience in the case that i rather type out my notes on my mac rather than put them into word and can have all my notes in a single place.

Import file via login to google drive
I think that apple’s File app has some bugs, so every time I upload a file to my google drive from PC, I cannot see that file via import button.
Looks like it didn’t sync well on the File app.
In my opinion, GoodNotes should request user permission directly to access the file from google drive.1 vote -

Email not a good idea
Email to Goodnote 5 is not a good feature.
I have Goodnote 5 installed on my iPad and home computer Mac. The PDF files are no issue to sync. When I am in the compony which only use the Window 10 computer, I can't easily put the PDF file into the Goodnote easily. The easier method I know is to put the files into the Dropbox or cloud storage. Then, import the PDF files to the Goodnote 5 from Mac or iPad when I go back home. Zoom Tool Box with own paper template
When importing a new paper template being and you are writing in the zoom text field and click enter the whole box jumps down the whole box length. So being able to select where it jumps to when pressing enter and it so it can for example jump to the next line like with the pre-installed GoodNotes templates would be very good

Edit and Save Convert to Text Feature
It would be good to be able to edit and save the convert to text function so when you're searching for specific prompts later and the convert to text did not work correctly automatically you could still find words later on.

Lo primero de todo felicitarles por la app, la tengo desde hace mas de dos años, y estoy encantado. Es más me la han visto muchos clientes y la han comprado por la buena que es. Mi pregunta es, tenéis pensado implementar la grabación de audio mientras que se toma notas, sería muy práctica para después repasar las reuniones.Gracias de nuevo

About the size of the added note page
I wish that in GN i can choose to add a new note page with the same size of the last PDF page so that all the pages of the book would keep regular.( or just with the same width can also help a lot) It’s important to keep standard by sliding, printing or sharing with others etc.

GoodNotes for Mac belongs in the Applications folder
I don't know why, but the GoodNotes app sits inside a GoodNotes folder in the Applications folder. That intermediate folder isn't necessary. Just put the App in the Applications folder.
