Enable Fountain Pen style with Apple Pencil
When using Apple Pencil, a terrific combination with GoodNotes and the iPad Pro, there is no difference between the Ball Pen style and the Fountain Pen style. As a result, the beautiful look of handwritten ink with the Fountain Pen style is unavailable, a severe tradeoff for the added precision of the Apple Pencil. Please enable the Fountain Pen style with Apple Pencil. Thanks!

Add handwriting practice paper
I’d like a paper template that uses the solid & dashed lines for handwriting practice. Many of us are new to writing on a tablet, and GoodNotes is sophisticated enough for practice to matter. I’m talking about paper lined like this:

Es sollte Zeichengeräte in Goodnotes geben
Ich nutze Goodnotes viel im Mathematikunterricht für Tafelanschriebe usw. Ich finde das Programm super, vor allem der Präsentationsmodus ist genial.
Was mir noch fehlt sind Zeichengeräte (Lineal, Geodreieck -> so ähnlich wie in der Notizen App von Apple), damit könnte ich Goodnotes noch viel umfassender nutzen...76 votes -
Add ability to return to tab screen from document list screen without opening new document
When browsing to open a document, it is impossible to return to the tabbed document screen without opening a new document. It would be nice to be able to return to the tabbed document screen without being required to open a new document.

Full screen mode for thumbnails
To effectively look over the multiple pages, I believe we need a full screen mode for thumbnails. And if it is possible to change the size of each thumbnail, that would be really convenient.

make the zoom window size adjustable
It looks like you are getting a lot of requests that fall into this category. I write small. The zoom window is magnified just too much for me, so even though my writing looks much better if I use this function it is tiny in the document. Writing in huge big strokes in the zoom window means it takes me longer to write. If I could reduce the zoom window height by 20%, this would help a ton.

Import Email message directly to Goodnotes
I want to import Outlook email messages into Goodnotes.
Currently I use a computer to print the email as a pdf and send it to myself that I import directly into goodnotes.
Is there a faster way? Can I do this on the iPad without needing a computer to print the email?Can you create an app

Split view incorporating Drag and Drop from iOS11
If we could have two documents open at the same time within GoodNotes and then use drag and drop for moving, text, ink, etc...
By split view I mean it needs to be like you get splitview on Safari on the iPad.

add an option for adding page numbers (that change automatically when pages are added / deleted)
Have the option to add page numbers to the notebook pages. I sometimes need to reference a page of my notebook along with a task form another page or notebook, right now I don't see a way to have page numbers happen automatically when adding or deleting pages from the notebook. Having a link system (so my task says "see notes on page 4" and when I insert a new second page - the note is now on page 5, the text would change "see notes on page 5".)

'Undo' and 'Apply' shape recognition
Sometimes I write an entire word in cursive and when I am done I realize shape recognition was on and the word becomes unreadable. I want to be able to press 'undo' and undo only the shape recognition step, recovering the word I just wrote. This is an intuitive way to make the program more useful without complicating the interface. It would also allow me to use 'undo' and 'redo' repeatedly to compare the results with and without shape recognition and decide if I want to keep them.

More templates and paper types would be good. I would love to notes templates with ability to type in the date, a To Do list would be also great. It would also be good to be able to change the colour or style of your notebook once it has been created

Create a checklist paper template with boxes that auto formats a check mark when the checkbox is selected. This could be offered on each paper type (lined, lined 2 column, plain, etc.)

Enable Strikethrough to remove incorrect words in a single stroke
Enabling strikethrough would give me the option of quickly deleting word(s) that I wrongfully entered. It saves me time compared to when I pick the eraser tool, erase items, and choose the pen tool again and then write.

I want finger gesture operations
I want to be able to operate by using "apple pencil" and "finger" different function. When using "pen" with apple pencil, range selection (or eraser) with one finger, "undo" with two finger tap etc. I think this app gets more operability that will be improved, I hope you will improve the tool! create the ability to 'flatten' text, images, etc
Having the ability to flatten would create a document that I could continue to write over but then do an "erase all" but not erase the flattened part.
I am a math teacher and sometime I write down a problem that I would like to keep to show to the next class or use next year. I would like the ability to keep the problem without exporting and re-importing it into GoodNotes as a pdf.
