On iPad: open files/pics as 1 single document
I get tons pictures from my students’ works.
So I’d like to open several pictures or documents from Files as pages of one single document. So far you can select and share them in GoodNotes, but then I’ll just get many single documents with one page each.
So here should be a dialog like „Open as separate documents“ or „Open all in a single document“ or „Add to document“.You could open a new document in GoodNotes you want to have the pictures in, go to Thumbnail view, go back to Files and share the pictures in GoodNotes (then you’ll…

Mirrored Drawing Mode
A Pen/Pencil Drawing Mode , where it "mirrors" everything you draw along the "x" or "y" axis.
This would allow for drawing custom symmetrical shapes much faster and easier.

Please let me export my notes with both the outline and searchable texts
The problem I currently face when I export my notes in pdf format is that I can only export it with the outline preserved or with searchable characters but not with both features, which is vexing to say the least as both are essential for me to structure my notes.
It should not be a huge technological barrier for GoodNotes to break through, right? Thanks, I need this new feature stat.

annotate pdf without importing into goodnotes
Often times I annotate pdf in dropbox/Google Drive. I'd like to use goodnotes a PDF annotation tool rather than use PDF expert because I like the UI. I don't want to have to import PDFs directly into goodnotes and then export it.

Sotto indici

A button to view all open notes
So there is an overview feature in safari that allows you to view all open tabs in the app as windows in rows and columns. I find that I have a lot of notes open at once.
If we could have a similar feature, like a button that gives us an overview of all the notes open, as well as seeing their first page. This would make navigation between open notes much faster and more productive

Show excerpts for each instance of a search term found on one page
Currently, when you search for a term, the search drop down menu will only show an excerpt of the first instance that the search term is found on a page. Often times, however, a term appears more than once per page. It would be beneficial to see an excerpt of each instance the search term is found.
For example, if the term "Australia" is found 4 times on page 53, there should be 4 excerpts of page 53 showing each instance where the term Australia appears.

Integrate with pencil kit for a floating pallet
I saw this interesting article and it would be really cool if you could add to good notes or emulate it having a floating pallet.

Improvements on Lasso Text + Audio and Charts
It would be great if I could rotate lasso text. A record audio feature would be nice. Also, an option to insert a chart template as well as having the ability to permanently copy a drawn chart and paste it from a library of copied shapes.

nightmare editing | improve, text paste | that spans multiple pages
Pasting text which spans more than one page is very difficult to handle as the text which is beyond the bottom of the page, disappears.
So the only way to currently handle this is to :
(a) measure how much text can fit into the page, then
(b) somehow, 'cut' out the text at the bottom which does not fit within the page ( this is not easy to do ).
(c) go to the next page and repeat the above process till all your text is pasted across multiple pages.
A NIGHTMARE.

Color palate
I used Goodnotes 4 in my iPad. When Goodnotes 5 was released, I installed it and I just loved it. But one feature I miss that was useful in Goodnotes 4 is the color palate on the zoom and write box. Every time I have to change color, I’ll have to move all the way to the right upper portion of screen to change it. It was much easier in Goodnotes 4 where it was right on top of the zoom and write box. Please bring that option in Goodnotes 5.

Reduce line distance for parallel lines until merge
Parallel lines (for example, double underscore or even wider tabulation lines) are often merged when "too close" together, even when zooming in. In nearly all cases, I want a parallel, close line, at the distance where I start the line. Suggestion: take the distance of the starting point to the paralleled line and correct to the parallel line at this distance.
