Lock Stickers
I would love if we were able to lock stickers in place on the page (like you currently can with images). I use stickers to add dimension and write over a lot in my notes, and it's a little frustrating when I accidentally interact with the sticker while writing and it shifts across the page. It would be extremely helpful to be able to lock them in place. Thank you!

Restore the undo button to top bar
The undo button has been migrated to an inconvenient location. Please revert this change.
I use split screen mode very often on my tablet, with Goodnotes on one side and lecture slides open on the other. The undo button was easily accessible before.
Now I have to tap the 3-dot menu just to undo one change. The only other options are to use Goodnotes fullscreen (not ideal), or surgically erase things on diagrams I've drawn.
This was so disruptive that I've already started moving to a different service. I'm aware there are smart gestures available, but I still heavily prefer…

Clear All Written Notes/Annotations Across Entire Document at Once
Hello Goodnotes Team,
I am writing to strongly request a critical feature that is currently missing from the app: an option to clear all handwritten notes and annotations across the entire document at once.
Currently, users have to manually delete annotations page by page or clear pages individually. Having to erase notes page by page in a long document is extremely time-consuming and inefficient. It is genuinely surprising that a full-document clear option is not yet available in a leading note-taking application.

Hi can u make the highlighting easier
Cos i study using this app and the highlighting drives me crazy
Like if i have to highlight 2 sentences, i should like perfectly highlight it u know, and u guys dont have the feature of just selecting the text like what ‘select” in computers do.Its hard to match the size of the highlighter in texts it drives me crazy and the time it takes too much time

Native table feature with directly typeable text fields
Currently, there’s no way to insert a real table in GoodNotes that you can type into directly with the keyboard — like you can in Apple Notes, for example. Right now you either have to draw the table entirely by hand (lines/shapes) and then place individual text fields for each cell, or import a finished table from Word/Excel as a PDF and overlay text fields on top of that as well. Both approaches are cumbersome, especially for larger tables.

Zoom‑lock for two‑finger gestures
It is recommended to add a zoom‑lock feature. After zooming in to a suitable position with two‑finger gestures, the zoom level will change again if you swipe left or right across the interface with two fingers.

Insert multiple images in reduced size
It would be very helpful to be able to select multiple images when inserting them and then reduce their file size. I have notebooks that are very large because they contain many images; this often causes backups to fail because the process takes so long.

[Selection] Select Element from anywhere on screen
Please revert the elements selection back to its original form:
- click on the elements tool and it remains selected just like the pen tool.
- Tap anywhere on screen and the elements dropdown shows
- tap on an element to paste it onto the page in the location that was originally tapped
- if more elements are needed, continue to tap in screen where you would like the element then select the element from the dropdown.2 votes -
Option to disable lasso tool alignment guides
Please consider an option in the settings to disable the newly added alignment guides when using the lasso tool. For some this is a distracting feature and should be optional.

[Toolbar Customization] Pin pen sub-tools and dedicated shortcuts
Pen Sub-tools: I use pen-related sub-tools more frequently than the main tools. Please allow users to pin pen sub-tools directly to the main toolbar for quicker access.
Dedicated Shortcuts: Adding links and converting text currently requires too many taps. Please provide an option to add these specific functions as individual icons on the main toolbar.

I am BEGGING for embedded videos
I'm a gymnastics coach and I use Goodnotes to plan practices and write down drills. It would be so helpful to quickly reference a video of a new drill we’re trying for the first time, or help my gymnasts better understand a new skill they’re working on. My little stick figure drawings can only do so much.

Table Function
It would be really cool if we had a button again in the Windows version that you could click on and, like with the keyboard, click somewhere and a table would appear. After that, you can write in it, and if you need more lines/columns, you can press a small plus sign.However, there could also be a small window that appears beforehand when you click on the table icon, where you can select which layout you want.

Tool: grey out / hide parts of page. Antagonist to the highlighter
Be able to grey out entire parts of an image/page. So you could navigate/sort slides that have a lot of useless information to only keep the parts you need.
A tool where you could e.g. grey out the entire image (like lowering the opacity) and select the parts you would like to keep.
In a sense a new tool that is the opposite of a highlighter.1 vote -
add more than 3 strokes to the toolbar (like the colours)
For colours you can add as many to the menu as you want. do the same for strokes (sizes) so you can add more than 3 strokes to the menu and swipe between them.

Expand and Collapse Sticky Notes in Read-Only Mode
