drag and drop from macbook
I used to be able to drag and drop PDFS from my MacBook to the Mac Goodnotes app on my laptop. I can no longer do this, which is really limiting my flexibility with the app. What has changed? I may need to shop for a different app, but I love Goodnotes otherwise.
I also used to be able to click the share icon on any document, image, or PDF and open it directly in Goodnotes. Now my only option is to send it to my Files app on my iPad and then I have to import it from there.…

Master List
I use separate notes to minute meetings and would like to be able to list specific tasks as well as general points, and then I want to generate a separate master list of all the tasks from the specific notes.

Zurück klicken in Unterordner ohne dabei ganz zurück zum Anfang zurück zu müssen
Aktuell muss man bei der neuen Version wieder ganz zurück an Anfang. Ich vermisse, wenn ich eine Ordner öffne die Möglichkeit nur wieder zurück in den Ordner klicken zu können. Aktuell kann man nur auf das „Home“ Icon drücken und dann landet man wieder ganz am Anfang. Ich will mich aber in einem geöffneten „Unterordner“ wieder zurück bewegen können ohne dass ich dafür zurück in die Gesamtübersicht (Dokumente) muss und dann wieder einzelne Ordner öffnen muss um zurück zu dem bestimmten „Unterordner zu kommen zu dem ich eigentlich nur will.

Ability to add images from folders instead of just the photos on ipad
Right now, I can only add images from Photos. I keep all of my images in folders. I would like the ability to add images from those folders too.

At freeform space to document
For researcher, we need free space to extract findings from article such as sentences, graph, picture, etc. and draw a line to define where they from.

Lined notebook vertical cursor size
Is it possible to change the size of the "|" cursor on a new note on a lined page? Right now it's vertically "long" and bleeds over to the other row. Looking at this from an accessibility perspective for a certain user. Thanks so much!

Flashcards Size Too Small On Mobile Phone
The current flashcards are too small to view comfortably on a phone. When I edit the flashcards on my iPad and send them to my phone for convenience, the text size remains too small, making it difficult to read without looking very closely.
Please make the flashcards bigger(at least 4/3 of the screen? ) and more accessible to view on the phone.

make recordings much easier to be located
I am creating a notebook which includes more than 300 pages. There may be several recordings in each page of my notes.
Therefore the current way of locating recording is almost impossible for me. Could you add a new feature for inserting a recording timestamp in the notes, so that when I click on it, the corresponding recording will automatically pop up？1 vote -
Additional function to pen and shape tools
i usually use Goodnotes for PDF so sometimes objects drawn with pen tool are difficult to see. therefore, i suggest new type of pen which has edged line like lazer tool.
my another idea is adding wavy and double line to pen or shape tool. now i can draw only single lines to highlight words / sentences. However it seems there's lack of function. thus we need wavy and double line tool.2 votes -
Tool bar space toggle
Can we get a toolbar update that lets me toggle how the space is used? I want to see all of my colors at a time and I would love it if this bar could move to allow for the space change.

Tape that snaps to shape
I love the new tape feature but I have A LOT of content that I need to tape over at a time! I would really love it if we had the option to make a box around what we want to tape and have the shape snap and fill in (like we have for the shape snap feature). My only other option currently is to make the pen as big as possible and color over an entire paragraph at once which has been very time consuming!

Rotate with lasso tool WITHOUT changing the scale.
This has been posted several times but no update from the devs about it. I NEED to be able to rotate without changing the size of a selection. This severely reduces the usability for me I know it can’t be difficult to add a lock on the size!

Toggle Pen Tool with Apple Pencil 2 Mini Menu
Apple’s new squeeze triggered mini menu enabling us to access GoodNotes menu options is wonderful. However what would make it especially useful, even essential, is the ability to toggle the pen tool on and off, to switch back and forth from navigation (ie planner links) to writing.

Create templates from current page
Add this to suggestion box: make It easier to add a current page I am working on to the templates. Right now I have to export and then import back in and that is annoying and useless. Thanks.

Support for buttons customization in Logi Options+
The MX mice series from Logitech is a pretty popular device. It includes a software called Logi Option+ that allows per app specific customization of the mouse buttons. For me, it was a life saver when scrolling documents was not working for Mac. I was able to set one side button to scroll up and the other to scroll down (each button was mimicking pressing the up or down arrow key, respectively).

Dismissible memo on the side of page (like a sidebar)
Sometimes I want to jot notes , but there isn’t enough empty space. Memo is nice but I dont want the memo to cover up the words in my document. Someone suggest expandable memo but then it may be easily missed when rereading the document.
I suggest a feature where we can add memo at the side of the pdf (outside of margin), function is similar to expandable page but more aesthetic. and it can be chosen to show or dismiss with something like a sidebar option.
