Googlemeetでの画面共有
高校の授業でipadを使用させていただいています。
以下の方法を行うとプロジェクタースクリーン、生徒のiPadともに画面が真っ暗になってしまいます。
① 教員iPadでgoodnotes 6を2画面表示する
→ 左は自分用、右は生徒への共有用
② MacBookをプロジェクターにHDMIで接続
③ MacBookでgooglemeetを開いて、生徒に画面共有を開始
→ 生徒の画面には教員MacBookの画面が投影される
④ 教員iPadをMacBookへミラーリング
→ Goodnotes6 のプレゼンテーションモードで右側の画面だけ表示されるようにする ⑤ 教室前方のスクリーンと生徒iPadに同じ授業スライドが投影されていた
→ 現在はここでプロジェクタースクリーン、生徒のiPadともに画面が真っ暗になってしまいますiPadOS 26へのアップデート前は問題なく画面が表示されており、生徒からも「手元でスライドが確認できるのは非常に助かる」と言われていたために、現在非常に困っています。
4月の新年度を迎える前に改善をしていただけると本当に助かります。
また改善方法等がございましたら、教えていただけると幸いです。

Natural Switching Between Handwriting and Typing Without Tool Changes
In my study and note-taking workflow, I naturally switch between handwriting and typing. While GoodNotes allows adding a typing block, the current experience feels too simple and not fully integrated with the handwritten document, which makes the transition less practical during real study sessions.
A more natural interaction could greatly improve this experience: writing with the Apple Pencil would continue to produce handwriting anywhere on the page, while tapping the screen with a finger would instantly open the keyboard and allow typing directly at that location—without manually switching tools or modes.

Customizable Lasso Toolbar / Move Duplicated Text to the Next Page
Customizable Lasso Toolbar
When using the Lasso Tool, I would love the option to customize the toolbar that appears after selecting content. Specifically, it would be great if actions like Copy could be placed directly on the toolbar instead of being hidden behind the three-dot menu, allowing users to choose which tools appear there.
Move Duplicated Text to the Next Page
Currently, duplicated text can only be moved to the next page after it has been placed and selected again with the Lasso Tool. It would be much more efficient if duplicated text could be moved to the next page…

Hand writing feel weird
In the latest GoodNotes update, I feel like they added more stroke stabilization without giving an option to turn it off. When I write ‘(’ or ‘C’, it sometimes turns into ‘<’, which is really frustrating.
Also, why does the Undo button pop up every time I undo something? It keeps appearing over and over, and it honestly gets on my nerves. Why put it there at all? What’s the purpose? So pls remove them and make an option to turn stroke stabilization completely off. Thanks1 vote -
Change thickness of Writing After Already Written
It'd be very useful to be able to change the thickness of writing after I have already written something. I often forget to change the thickness when I write and when I go back to edit. Just expanding the written text is NOT the same and makes it very difficult. Often, I have to delete the text and rewrite it, which wastes a lot of time. I have a friend who complains about it too, so it's good to know it's not just me. But please... I need this.

It would be great if PDF files could be imported without becoming a separate page, but rather so that they appear on the interface similar to notes and can be resized.
For example, you could insert additional PDFs into a school script that provide further information on the topic and can be stored there.
This way, the PDFs can be minimised for storage and then enlarged for reading.2 votes -
LOCKING ITEMS IS A START, BUT... NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!
Recently, a "lock object" feature was introduced which is AMAZING, thank you. However, as others have noted, sometimes a whole page is an image (say a form that you're filling out, working with other little images or handwriting on top of it). We're all doing it, I'm sure you don't need a picture. It's great that I can lock the base layer, but still EVEN IF I've already sent it to the back, if I select it, it visually brings it front and now I can't see the objects on top. I’m writing to share some UX feedback based on frequent, everyday use of GoodNotes on iPad. All of the points below stem from a common issue: tool discoverability and predictability, especially for power users who rely on muscle memory.
- Inconsistent context menu ordering When selecting content, the context menu (Copy, Paste, Duplicate, etc.) changes order depending on context. For example, “Copy” sometimes appears near the top and other times much lower in the list. Because these are high-frequency actions, the inconsistency makes the interface feel unpredictable and slows down routine workflows.

Auto-switch back to previous tool after using the lasso.
For example, after I move an object, it automatically switches back to the pen tool.

Setup Logitech Creative Console for Goodnotes
Logitech Creative Console is a device that is programmable for navigating apps i.e. Adobe, Photoshop, Zoom etc. However there isn't an available template for Goodnotes, it can be programmed by each individual user, however it would be fantastic if one were available for all Goodnotes users.

Non-Deletable Handwriting
I need a feature in GoodNotes that allows certain handwritten text to remain undeletable, even when I use the page delete function.
When I solve the same workbook multiple times, I mark whether I got each question right or wrong. The problem is that when I use the page delete function to clear my messy work and keep only those markings, the previous right/wrong marks get deleted as well, which is inconvenient.

Add a Pin/Lock Option for the GoodNotes AI Floating Sidebar
When the GoodNotes AI sidebar is set as a floating bar, I’d like to request an option to pin or lock it in place.
Currently, if I tap anywhere outside the chat—such as the page itself or another UI element—the AI chat UI disappears. This makes it difficult to read the answer I just received, or to quickly check the page while formulating a follow-up question. Often, the sidebar disappears before I can continue, which makes the purpose of the floating bar unclear.

Please bring back search field for audio transcripts!!!!
Please bring back the ability to search audio transcripts. That saves me so much time scrolling when I can search for a phrase or word in the transcripts. It disappeared after one of the new updates across all of my devices (iPhone, Mac, iPad)

Passive and Selective Voice Recording
Add the option to have an active recording going on but not actively saving every bit of the recording. Only have the recording save when I click a specific button, and it will "catch" the last 1 minute of audio and record that on the page I'm currently on.
I often find myself in lectures wanting to catch the last 30 seconds to 1 minute of what my professor said, but it's too late; they've moved on, and I can't start recording now because I missed it in the first place.I got the idea from Steam gaming actually. Where…

Adding new node or handle to existing shape
When drawing shapes goodnotes creates nodes or handles to allow you to adjust the shape, however you cannot then add a new node/handle to the shape.
For example, if I draw a triangle, and then want to change it to a 4 sided shape, I have to delete the shape and redraw.
When drawing complex shapes, this is time consuming and frustrating.

Edit font size for written and drawn things
We should be able to edit the size of written text and drawn shapes that have already been created. I don’t mean like how it is now. That’s great too. But, for example, after adding a shape, you can adjust the width. We would like that for everything drawn, that’d be great. I have adhd and i like to make things extra pop by making some words thicker than the rest and i used the change in text size for organization. Eraser and writing aids
The eraser tool works but can get glitchy because when you erase it disappears but then it reappears! It should just erase in one go. Then, there are the writing aids that pop up in the bottom. When you click hide, more just keep coming and you can’t focus

Swipe to edit flashcards
I need to be able to swipe through the flashcards IN THE EDITOR. I do NOT want to go back to thumbnail view, click on the next card, check if it has an error, go back to thumbnail view, swipe down, click the next card, remember which card I just opened, etc! I don’t want to do this to add a new flashcard either!!!!!

Pin handwriting/drawing
I love that the text tool can now be pinned and it doesn't rest every time!!! however what is very annoying is when you are annotating your text notes and the palm of your hand triggers the text you are drawing on. By having a pin text button this could mean annotating text without triggering the text box
