Gesture to change pen color
Add the ability to program a gesture to rotate pen colors. I use multiple colors for my notes and this feature would save me SO MUCH time.

Back to Notes in Folders view
I hate the thing that if you are searching for a note on a folder o if you exit by mistake while taking notes you must open a new file to return back in “notes mode”. Just add a “back to notes” button or make tabs view also available in search, documents, ecc pages!!

Enhance typed notes
Improve the overflow feature of typed notes so that if I go back and add more to an earlier page, it automatically flows down. Also allow for a header that repeats across multiple pages of typed notes (like in a notebook filled with notes for a semester worth of classes).

Rectangles are almost impossible to draw
I love you guys, but you seriously need to fix the shape drawing tool. There are currently (as far as I know) two ways of drawing shapes:
Draw them quickly to get exactly what you drew: This is (almost) always imprecise for shapes like rectangles, since I obviously can't draw a rectangle consistently, so this is a non-starter for rectangles
Draw them and hold for shape perfection: This is for some reason almost always turned into a circle or an ellipse which is incredibly frustrating.

IOS features also on Windows
there are a few features that exist on the IOS Application that is missing on the WIndows/WEB Application. for example I am missing the ability to fill in forms and drawings that I made. also, the ability to have several documents open in the same app. I can also not erase notes just by scribbling over them, which might be a problem for Lenovo and also there are just way more possibilities to customize the Pen on the Tablet App.

scratch out - feature
since the last update its much harder to delete something by scratching it out. you just keep on adding lines and it creates an even bigger mess. it doesnt really matter how you do it (slow or fast movements, quickly or longer), it‘s way harder to get it to work as it used to. its such a nice feature if you want to get rid of something without using the eraser, which deletes stuff you didnt want to sometimes.

Have the ability to have margins
As a student, I am often completing exam papers and download them onto my goodnotes to then complete. I often find that there isn't enough space to write on the sheet so I create a new blank page to write my answers. However it is very inconvenient to have to scroll up and down to read the question then scroll down to write my working then scrolling back up again for the the questions and so on. There is an option to save our favorite font and size of a text, I think it would be lovely to have multiple favorites so that there would be more text boxes already edited as a quick access.

Move Utility Bar Divider Between Colors and Functions
I would like to be able to move the divider between the colors and tools to the left to allow a greater selection of colors to be available. I remember this was a thing before in Goodnotes, where the ruler and laser pointer were behind the divider and I could access a greater number of colors and/or line thickness.
As a user who rarely uses anything past the lasso tool and sometimes the image insert but uses several colors in my notes it would very useful!

Laser trace sharing in collaboration mode for shared documents
Laser movement shall be shared to all participants in the collaboration mode.
Collaboration mode is very useful when multiple people work on the same document at the same time, e.g. remote teaching, doing home work together etc.
Participants can write simultaneously and this is near real time visible to all.
Please extend this functionality for laser pointer. It is very useful when explaining home work or what ever is the topic.

Wolfram Alph integration & functions
Wolfram alpha integration
So you could reference all of what wolfram alpha can do as well as do conversions, reference info, as well as improving the math functionality with quick ability to do conversions and references that wolfram offers. So you could select a math expression for example or an ip address, or unit of measurement and be able to solve, convert, plot, subnet, and reference data. With the ability to search wolfram or have GoodNotes just be able to recognize data from notes and be able to do math and solve conversions and such.1 vote -
Cycle through 3 or tools with double tap Apple Pencil
Cycle through 3 (or more) tools/brush with double tap Apple Pencil.
If you double tap, it will cycle through the last three tools (or more depending on setting choice)
So for example:
1. Start from from 'PEN' write something.
2. Double tap Apple pencil and it will go to 'HIGHLIGHTER', and highlight a word.
2. Double tap Apple pencil and it will go to 'SHAPE TOOL' and under line some text and draw a box.
3. Double tap Apple pencil and it's back to 'PEN' and write something.This will prevent needing to move the pen up to the tool…

Enhance audio recording by linking it to pages/text written
When I want to listen to a specific part on my document, instead of skipping through the recording by myself until I find it. I could just click on the text I’ve written while I recorded that part, and Goodnotes would automatically skip to the part and start playing the recording.
I hope that makes sense, it’s just like notability. I know a lot of people who would switch to Goodnotes if that feature is available.3 votes -
Zoom out on downloaded documents
I often download slides from lectures and it would be great if I could be able to zoom out and not have the slides fill the whole screen when I am looking through it. I'm able to do this with documents made in the app, but not when downloaded and it would just be nice to not have it fill the whole screen, to get a better overview.
