Copy and paste with Handoff
If I draw a note and then use Handoff to get it onto my Mac and then try and copy it into Pages it always tries to convert it to text. I just want the drawing. There should be two copy modes, one for drawing, one for text.

Share Notes with GoodNotes
The new ipad Pro (2019) allows you to open Notes by tapping the Apple Pencil to the screen and instantly start writing a Note. Once I have done this, there is no way to efficiently share this content directly to GoodNotes. Allowing GoodNotes into the Share options would help streamline the use of both apps.

Locking the horizontal panning on PDFs with large white margins
When I import a pdf with large white margins on the sides it would be great if we could set a specific zoom that would “crop out” the white margins and then lock the horizontal panning when scrolling a bit diagonally - that way the text is bigger on the screen and we don’t have to constantly adjust the text column to be centered. Thanks!

Pasting more text than will fit on a page
When I paste more text than will fit on a page the text gets cut off. Is there a way to get it all onto one page? Not ability can spread text between as many pages as it takes.

Apple Pencil Contexual Menu
Immediately after I started using the app to take notes in class, I have found myself wanting a contextual menu that can show up around the pencil.
My idea would be to use the double tap in the Apple Pencil, or a double tap of the Pencil on a note (or another shortcut), that would open a menu around the last position of the Pencil.
This menu would have color palette, tool options, and tool selection.
This could allow the user to have the toolbar off or just have a shortcut to the toolbar options.

Have more preset colors and thicknesses displayed in the toolbar.
There is enough space left in the toolbar to have 4 (maybe even 5) preset pen-colors and -thicknesses displayed in the toolbar permanently.
I use for my notes during lectures 4 different colors and I would save quite a lot of time if my 4th color could be displayed permanently as well.

Can developers put the toolbar of the software on the left and right sides ？instead of just the up and down direction of the screen，i think i will get better use with my lefthand on screen. after solve it ,this app is perfect.

Open to last notebook viewed
Goodnotes used to open to the last notebook I viewed. Now it constantly goes back to the main document screen and I have to find and open the document I want every Time. Is there a way to make it stop doing that?

What I miss in Goodnotes 5
I have been using Notability for my class notes for over a year and am just now starting to use Goodnotes 5 specifically for bullet journaling. There are a few features I love in Notability that I think would be great in Goodnotes:
* Clickable bullet lists when typing in Text
* Alignment guides to show when elements are aligned to each other at right, left, & centerAnd one other suggestion (not from Notability that I know of)... an optional line or dot grid that can be projected onto a page to help with alignment. Great if it can…

Dropbox Direct Access
I think everyone ist working with files stored on a cloud (iCloud, Dropbox, ...)
Allowing direct access to the files and working directly on them without having to export would give a huge improvement to everyones workflow.Take PDF reader as an example or apps like that.
Having to import every file into GoodNotes is a big waste of time which could be avoided really "easily".

enlarge sheet
It would be interesting to have a feature where we could enlarge the sheet we are working on or writing. Often the content is large, for example: mind maps, summaries, planning, action plans, and we are limited to having to break the idea to fit everything.
If we could enlarge the sheet, fitting more content into it.

Improving searching function in korean
When searching in korean, the results are not conveient. For example, when I search the word "굿노트", I expect the pages which include "굿노트". But Goodnote shows me all the pages which have "굿" and "노" and "트" separately. This example is same in English : searching "good", then result is all the pages which have "g", "o", "d". This means Goodnote can't understand Korean words perfectly. So searching function is useless for me when I search in Korean.

Video saving in GoodNotes
Hello GoodNotes I was disappointed to find that I could not add a video into your app as a document itself. It would be really useful for me to include some helpful YouTube videos with my university notes. If you could add this feature that would be great. If I could take screen records and record my professor speaking as I take notes that would be fantastic.

Searching for a “whole phrase” (example) instead of individual words in a phrase?
I’m trying to search for multi-word phrases in GoodNotes on my iPad and the search engine appears to be treating each word as an independent search term. Is it possible to search for the entire phrase?
Example: Searching for “Looking for this phrase” is apparently translated to searching for “Looking” OR “for” OR “this” OR “phrase” instead of using AND’s or using the actual search text, perhaps in “ “‘s?

Tabs at top have colour options so it’s easier to differentiate from different types of pages when choosing open files.
Tabs that are open , have top of the tab be able to have different colours.

You can add small pages to the left and right sides of a note page, or just comments, so it's extremely convenient to flip through notes later, as well as PDF revisions. Summary: goodnote page restrictions are very serious
