Default typing
「Save current text style from the toolbar as default」only available on text box. Please make it available on full page typing mode too~

You should be able to add your file and let the app generate flashcards for you instead of manually doing it yourself
Instead of manually making flashcards, we should be able to upload our file and let it generate flash cards for us, it will be less time consuming. Also give different quiz options like filling in the blanks, multiple choice questions, and just writing out the answer

type mode
allow users to change the fonts in type mode and allow them to change font size. now you can only to it with the type box but not type mode which is annoying.

Zoom Window Auto Advance
When using the Zoom Window in addition the Auto Advance having the blue box on the left side of the screen is quite inefficient. I have been a long time of user (3 years+) and I have always thought that enabling the choice for the Blue Auto Advance Box to be either on the left or right would be HIGHLY useful!

Remove hyperlinks being active in annotation mode.
It used to be that only in read-only mode would the hyperlinks be active. This allowed me to write in annotation mode without accidentally switching to a different page of the notebook. Now I am constantly being shuffled to a new page when I write if I accidentally touch a hyperlink. I rely on this app for all my self-scheduling, day planner, and journaling. With this change it makes the app unusable.

Customizable Presets for Tool Combinations
Presets of tool combinations: Allow users to save and access frequently used combinations of tool settings directly from the toolbar.
Example 1: A preset for creating diagrams could include a dashed line, red color, 5pt thickness, and the ruler tool enabled.
Example 2: A preset for annotating text could include a yellow highlighter with 50% opacity and a black pen set to 2pt thickness.
Time-saving feature: Eliminates the need to manually reconfigure tools each time, streamlining workflows!!!!
Enhanced usability: Tailor tool combinations for specific tasks and access them quickly with a single click.

Typed outline style notes
Similar to how you can type notes for specific slides on a powerpoint, this feature would allow you to type notes beside the document, not on the actual document. This feature could live in the sidebar of the document and be collapsable when not in use. For example, If you were using Goodnotes online or on the desktop app, you would be able to more efficiently type notes that correspond to each page without having to mess with text boxes, which often slow down workflow (espically if you are typing notes during class).

Better Annotation
We can write in the infinite grey space on either side of the documet. Doesn't have to show up when printing anything (only print out the page / inserted document). Or have numerous options to format it differently like OneNote when printing things out with annotations on the side.

Goodnotes notes not accessible when signed out and no internet
I travel a lot and am randomly signed out of my Goodnotes account. When this happens and I don’t have internet, I am unable to access any of my notes, despite the fact that they’re downloaded to my iPhone and/or iPad. Is there a way to continue to access my Goodnotes notes when signed out and without Internet access??

Update the MacOS app
I am using Goodnotes on MacOS 12.6 and there are no updates that work with my version of the mac. My notebooks are not getting updated on iCloud.
At least fix it so we don't always need the latest version to have our files synchronized across all devices...1 vote -
Bulk upload
It would be cool if we could bulk import pen/pencil/highlight colors. To click through as you add is a bit time consuming.
Also, I think we should have different pen types. My handwriting looked phenomenal on the pages app but I love Goodnotes so I’m sticking with it.

Simplifying Page Link Generation
Dear GoodNotes Team,
I am an avid user of GoodNotes and greatly appreciate the page linking feature. However, I would like to propose a few improvements to streamline this functionality.
Currently, generating a page link requires navigating to the previous page of the target page, creating and copying the link, and then deleting the text box afterward. This workflow feels unnecessarily cumbersome.
It would be incredibly helpful if you could add an option to copy the link of the current page directly from the “More” menu. Additionally, having a shortcut key for this function would enhance usability even further.

Move the toolbar to the left, vertically
The toolbar can be moved to the left side of the screen with the elements being ordered vertically, so to have more space to write

Improve the pencil feature!
The pencil is transparent and lacks boldness and clarity. When zooming out the strokes can appear fragmented, which diminishes the overall visual quality of the notes. Add some adjustable opacity settings to offer a more defined stroke.
