"Mark as read" option for texts in GoodNotes
It would be very helpful if there was a "mark as read" option in GoodNotes, especially when you have a lot of texts to be read so you can see at a glance which ones you have read and which ones are still to be read. Currently, I am using the "tick emoji" in the document name which is an alternative but being able to actually tick off documents and mark them as read would be so helpful!

Es wäre gut wenn man beim Stift eine gestrichelte Linie aus wählen könnte.
Geht ja schon beim Lasso Werkzeug das entsprechend mit bleibenden Linien und allen Fähigkeiten des Stiftes.

Being able to crop note pages
Sometimes a PowerPoint slide or PDF file might not have enough room to write notes on, or gets too cluttered.
I like to create a new blank page and write notes on that. The issue is the fact that sometimes these additional notes do not take up the whole page so I just have a huge blank area beneath the notes.
I'd like a way to resize each individual page, if needed. That way, I can cut out all the blank, wasted space and keep my notes seamless.

PREVIEW A SIDEBAR WITH A LIST OF BOOKMARKS
I appreciate the setting of hyperlinks coming from other apps such as Keynote or InDesign, etc. However, I think it would be more useful the possibility to preview all the bookmarks on a sidebar whenever I want, being able to add shortcuts to any of my files inside the GoodNotes app.

MacBook open in full screen
Every time I open GN in my MacBook, the app window is small. We should be able to open it in full size each time without having to adjust the size after each opening.

Flashcards reminder and automatic query
It would be good if you are reminded when the flashcards are due and then an automatic query is made. So far, at the end of a learning session, it says when you should come back to learn the flashcards. However, if you want to study the vocabulary on that day, it says another day because it assumes you have already studied the vocabulary. So you have to press "Study again", although the flashcards have not been learned on that day.

Select equation and get them solved
Good notes is the perfect app for maths practise as maths requires a lot of practise. It would be great if you could just select a set of equations and the app would automatically detect the variables and numbers and solve the equations. This would be of tremendous help

Flashcards on right side
Just saw your experimental feature of learning with flashcards. What I would wish as an improvement is having the flashcard page (Question/Answer) on the right side of an page, when creating it. Moreover I want it not to appear underneath the scroll direction reading through my normal script. I want to see it maybe indicating that it exist by seeing a small border of it on the right side. Check my sketch in the attachment.

PDF pages display setting
Sometimes when I read and take notes on lecture PowerPoint pdf on GoodNotes, I feel like the pages display are too big (I used an iPad Pro) esp when the content on the slides is not very compact. So I wonder if it’s possible to set how the pdf to be displayed, like for horizontal it can be set to 2x2, 3x2. Or for vertical, it can be set to 2x4, 2x6, or even 3x4 etc instead? To be able to view more pages at a glimpse like the outlines and also able to actually read the content would be…

Landscape Canvas Size on iPad Pro
When do handwritten notes direct on a landscape oriented page (in big paper formats like A3) there is no room on the right to scroll out of the page, having enough space that my hand stays on the iPad so that I can continue writhing.
Example: When you use a horizontal A4 page and zoom in that you can straight write on the page you can move the page more and more to the right while you are filling the paper. Once you are reaching 2/3 of the page you can still continue scrolling right and there will be this…6 votes -
Mac Desktop Needs Import Extension
Drag and drop pdfs in Mac OS is annoying because you have to export, save, and then drag (or export to mail and drag, etc). Then rename the document.... I’ve noticed other 3rd party apps have extensions which would allow import through the share icon in Preview or other apps like Safari. Would love to see that feature! Would make workflow a lot smoother.

Add a Blank Slide
When annotating imported PDFs/PPT slides, have the option to add an blank page that is the same size as the existing PDF or PPT slide size. This is so that the user can add more note-taking space without messing up the sizing of the entire GoodNotes document.

Lasso parts of an image/picture
Please add the option to select and copy parts of the inserted image using the lasso tool.
For example: if there’s an image with 12 numbers in it and you want to use each of the numbers separately, you should be able to lasso each of them and copy it to the same page, instead of having to make multiple copies of the same image and having to crop each one of them to become a single number you need.6 votes -

Ask before closing any tab with file name.
I really want goodnotes to ask before closing any tab for more convenient such as "Are you sure you want to close 123.pdf ?". I usually open multiple tabs and I accidentally close some tab that I don't know. (I know that I can find the recent tabs I've opened.) Sometimes I close wrong tab too. Automatic icloud backup
This would change a lot! There are a few options to have your work synced to a backup folder, however there is no option for icloud. As many users probably use icloud for their backup-system this would help a lot!
