Switching Page Color afterwards for print
Having written black pages with white font color, it would be great to just switch to the negative (page turning white, white font color changing black, the other colors don’t change) to print the notebook.
Would love to have this feature !

Rename files
It would be nice to rename existing files. I noticed that recently you are able to rename files when uploading. Please also give the option to rename after uploading.

Alternative zur iCloud Synchronisierung
Auf unseren Lehrer iPads steht uns die iCloud wegen Einschränkungen leider nicht zur Verfügung. Es wäre super, wenn man auch über andere Cloud Dienste synchronisieren könnte.

Allow note taking in margins
When we shrink the note size, there are a lot of margins on the sides. I'd like to be able to take notes on these side margins, please! My lecture slides are not big enough, so it'd be so nice to be able to create some extended margins to the sides to make notes. Thank you! please please please ❤️

Import PDF comments from other apps
As long as I cannot import the yellow stickie comments from Acrobat into GN, this app is unfortunately useless to me.

Ideas about content and page number
I hope that you can added two useful functions to the app.
The first one is that let the user modify the code of book, that is, let the user customize the first page of books. The users can not go to according page that the content tell us because the page number in the app is a sum equals the later page number add the content，including the cover. That's really make me crazy.

Presentation mode
Hi guys,
Not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue, but recently I have started using iPadOS 16 on my iPad Pro which comes with a bunch of new features including dedicated external display support. However, with an external monitor connected, GoodNotes forces me into presentation mode meaning I cannot use my external monitor for anything other than displaying my notes.
This is a real issue when I’m studying as I cannot read my lecture notes or watch my lecture online on the external display. This leads me to having to use regular notes for iPad to bypass this…

Reveal tool for presentation mode
When 'Mirror Presenter Page' or 'Mirror Full Page' is active, it would be useful to be able to progressively reveal elements.
I imagine this would be grouped with the laser pointer tool and when selected would dim or reduce the opacity of all elements on the page in the device view but hide them on the external display. The tool would then function like the inverse of the eraser (stroke, standard or precision, different pen sizes) to reveal the elements. I hope that the handwritten conversion text can be replaced directly onto the converted text instead of needing to copy and paste.

Navigation and bookmarks
When we study Lange text books using good notes navigation is a bit difficult eg we should have the go to previous page option other wise we have a tough time going back and forth between pages. Abo book marks can be made of more than one colour so that book marked pages can be categorized.
Lastly the long press option to highlight or underline in readonly mode is highly desirable but has been taken of in the updates

line thickness
Instead of just having three line thicknesses for your pen tool, please can we have a plus and minus button with more variations? When I write, the smallest line thickness is too thin and the medium is too thick. There’s no happy medium

Changing color with lasso tool
Changing color of written or typed notes with lasso tool.

Showing pages miniatures in the rightmost column so that it’s easier to find the page I am looking for
I have a lot of pages in my notebook, and to go to some older page I have scroll all the way there. It would be nice to have (like a pdf) pages minutares and possibility to click on the minutare in order to go there.

edit curved line angles, not just points
I would like to be able to change the angle at the end of a curved line and not just the position of the end point. I used to have a similar tool in Adobe Illustrator. I find myself often wishing for something similar in GoodNotes. I would be able to draw a wider range of curves and I do not think it would be so difficult to implement. Option to remove the hold to zoom/add comment menu
Whenever I’m writing my finger is held down on the screen and opens the menu shown in the photo. It’s extremely distracting and makes it impossible to use this app.

Option to fit all pages to one width
When rotating a page in a PDF document, the width of the single pages varies from the upright to the horizontal ones. This causes vertical scrolling to also scroll left or right sometimes. Double-tapping to zoom also doesn't feel as natural anymore.
I'd like to have an option to display all pages in the same width. That would solve both problems.4 votes -
Zoom window line-break fix
When the zoom window extends past the edge of the page, the next line should appear inline following a grey area to denote the page boundary.
Currently, the zoom window handles line breaks inconsistently. If the blue 'advance' region is too long for the remainder of the line, it sometimes continues with a carriage return/ line break. However, the auto-advance does not always perform this line break. Sometimes, the blue region appears but only attempts to advance further within the same line. add new pages to the left and right of the notes
When I read, the large amount of text on the page made it inconvenient for me to add annotations and notes, especially when I needed to quote passages from other works and had no space. Adding blank pages at the bottom of the page makes turning pages difficult and text cannot be joined.
If a new feature could be added to add blank pages to the left and right of the page, capped at two pages, that would work even better and I would not want to use another notes app.4 votes
