BUG REPORT，Text Box Tool in Mac
device: MacBook Pro M1 2020
Frequent crashes happen when I am typing words in a text box , which is really inconvenient and annoying. I will be really appreciated if you can fix it as possible2 votes -
Suggestion how to save to local storage
I'm not sure where does Goodnotes automatically save when I turn off auto back up to cloud storage. Goodnotes doesn't have status to show is it now saving to the device. i.e. loading or syncing symbols that have rotating arrow and say file saved when finish saving.
More over, Goodnotes usually hangs (or crashes?). It hangs and auto show my iPad's home screen.
I suggest 2 ideas to improve how to save.
1) Add saving staus bar and symbol to show is the file saving to somewhere like MS office. For example "Saving to your local storage." or "Saving to…2 votes -
Shortcut for line size
I do a lot of math and when creating equations I like to make exponents, subs or even small corrections a different line width for them to stand out. It would be very helpful to be able to to use the pencil tap shortcut on Apple Pencil to change the line width and even the color instead of having to constantly reach up to the selection menu to switch back and forth. Phsical Mouse Wheel Scrolling on the Mac Version
The mouse wheel scrolling work within the IU, the menu, the thumbnail view, etc. Yet it DOES NOT work on the notebook contents. It even works on the iPad but it DOES NOT work on the Mac version.

Allow the changing of paper style for an entire document
When writing one often uses lined/grid paper. However, when printing it would be useful if the background is a plain white paper. It would be really useful if one could change the paper template of all pages at once and not only individual pages.

Reformat handwritten text by simply highlighting - color, pen type etc.
Allow the ability to reformat/re-color text via simply highlighting with a tool (similar to highlighter) rather than having to lasso and change the color.

Chrome browser extension to quickly add resources from web to notability
I have been using goodnotes for almost three years now. One thing I feel is lacking from GoodNotes is the functionality of cross-platforms compatibility. One note has a chrome browser extension for web grab which adds the web to your notes directly. I think it would be super useful for goodnotes class notes taking

Text analysis: enable coding / tagging of text passages
I use GoodNotes for my studies and often have to summarize texts / papers or analyze them with regards to specific topics. What would be really helpful there if you can mark and associate specific parts of the text (e.g., some words, a sentence, etc.) with a chosen term ("tag" / "code") and have a view where you can filter for all of the passages marked with that tag. Researchers use that similarly for qualitative data analysis with dedicated programs (see for example: https://atlasti.com/2017/03/16/make-best-codes-atlas-ti/). Be able to add a name or description to the document when sharing
Please add a feature so that you can change the name of a file/document when you use shareable link. It will only show “GoodNotes”. Which makes it very confusing to know what’s what. I have attached a photo of what I’m talking about.

several pages in structure
It would be convenient to add blocks from several sheets to the structure so that they can then be dragged together inside the document.

Better formatting of texts
When formatting text for example by using underline, bold, cursive, the whole text is being formatted with the last effect being used in the text when changing font size. Please change it so that when changing the text size already formatted words are being saved and not applied to the whole text box.

Dokumente verlinken
Goodnotes Dokumente ineinander verlinken, sprich wenn ich im Dokument „siehe Kapitel xy“ schreibe, würde ich gerne dieses Kapitel aus einem anderen Dokument verknüpfen um somit mit einem Klick dorthin zu gelangen.

Opening A New Tab
When inside a notebook, it would be great to be able to open another notebook/document in a new tab (not a new window), without having to hit the back button and go back to the main list of folders/notebooks/etc

Addition of iOS Scrollbar (drag and move scroll bar to a specific location)
GoodNotes still does not have implemented this great feature that apple introduced with iOS 13. Everywhere I can press long on the scrollbar and just slide it wherever I want. So I can reach the last page of a long book pretty fast. In GoodNotes I still need to scroll page by page until I am at the last page. This is pretty annoying. Even Notability has this feature implemented.
You can see three photos attached, one while using Goodnotes (no thick scrollbar), one while using Notability (thick scrollbar) and one while using Safari (thick scrollbar).Please implement this!

Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn man die Lernkarten (z.B. für Vokabeln) in beide Richtungen abfragen lassen könnte.

Disable zoom feature
Please include an option to disable the zoom window and the highlighting/selection features entirely. I prefer to zoom and select manually and it’s annoying to have the app constantly highlighting parts of my musical score or to see the black “zoom” option button appear just because I’ve touched the screen a bit too long.

Suggestion of page size depending on the previous site size
I would like to have the feature that the drop menu "add site" not only contains the last used standard sizes, but also a page suggestion depending on the previous page size. This would make it much easier to insert a suitable page of the same format in pdf documents or presentations to make notes without having to guess or try out the correct format of the document.

Can't edit files downloaded from Community (NOT in .goodnotes format)
When I download content from the Goodnotes Community tab, I'm not able to edit any of the files. Files don't seem to import into my library as a .goodnotes files but instead as some form of .pdf(?).
This is really annoying especially when people make things like sticker packs (a bunch of images/icons on a page) where the intent is for you to import the stickers as elements. If it's not a .goodnotes file, you have to screenshot and crop everything yourself AND a lot of the resolution is lost.
Beyond that, I often like to make tweaks to stuff…
