Infinty long pages
Dear GoodNotes team,
I really love your app. I’m a student who started using an iPad for school stuff during the pandemic. Since i started using GoodNotes i fell in love with the powerfull simplicity of the app. There is just one feature i would love to see added.
I would really enjoy the option to create pages who are as long as I’d like them to be. My idea is a pages that can fit a whole topic and you never painfully have to tun pages during writing. Once you are done with the entry you can cut of…2 votes -

The paste keyboard shortcut is not activated(command + V).

Automatic Size Adjustment for New Inserted Images to Match the Exact Size of the Previous Images Inserted.
I use GoodNotes a lot to insert pictures of my lectures and make digital notes with pictures and I also use pictures to make digital presentation boards. Every time I insert a new picture, I have to manually adjust the size to match the previous picture that I inserted and it takes a lot of time wasted on unnecessary tasks. I was hoping if your software engineers team could code a feature that would show grids once you are at the exam the same size if the pictures are being placed next to each other on the same page.

Customize (toggle different) views of Thumbnails (3x3, or 6x6, etc.)
I'm a teacher and I use Goodnotes for marking many assessments seeing as we are largely remote nowadays, it would be nice to change the number of pages we see in each row (even if that means making the icons smaller). For example, in a test that was four pages long, I can bookmark the start of each new student's test and it lines up nicely, but if I am marking anything other than a four page test, it doesn't - if possible, it would be great to pick and choose how many pages are seen per row (like a…

In the add page button, add command to duplicate current page
I like to start my header with a cute font that helps me differentiate between sections and navigate more easily to a topic when I review for exams. My process for extending the notes on section when I run out of space for a page entails a complicated ceremony of tapping on the “More Options” menu, then selecting “Copy Page”, then waiting a second or so for it to copy, then tapping on the “+” page button, then selecting “Paste Page”, and finally a brisk celebration knowing I didn’t have to copy a page by hand that I spent ten…

16:9 notebooks
I and anyone remotely teaching is in need of 16:9 aspect ratio size notebooks. There’s none supplied. The problem is with none 16:9 notebook sizes is the appearance of black frames from both sides.
This is the only reason I have to use Notability instead.

Seyes template or french school ruling
Seyes template or french school ruling template would be nice. It is possible though to copy one as a pdf and use it as a background, but this would be a nice add on.

Pinboard mode
I use Goodnotes for idea generation for work and the one thing I miss from my previous app for this (Forge) is the ability to move pages around on a kind of pinboard grid, placing them wherever I want (in groups, solo, rows, columns, with space between them if desired). It would allow free-form placement of the pages on a grid perhaps 6 pages deep and as long as it needs to be, and would be an alternative mode to the traditional notebook sequential page style you currently have. two Options to fill in in colour in a shape
In the app, there are two different menu points where you can change the option whether you want to fill in the shapes or not. But if I change it at the pen menu, the same change occurs at the shapes menu.
But it would be cool to be able to draw not filled in shapes when the pen is selected an to be able to draw filled in shapes when you select the shapes menu. So that the two buttons are not connected together.2 votes -
A mini notebook in your notebook Or an advanced flashcard ability
There is an app muse, who to tell you the truth is a bad app but has a very unique feature and that it has infinity amount of flashcards on it that they can become bigger and smaller and you can even add a card inside another
What am asking for is simple a flashcard that you see its containt and can controle its size that when you want to use you can make it bigger, this flashcard has an infinitesimal size or at least the size of a typical page

PDF-Export: Overwrite existing files (instead of „Copy of Copy of Copy…“)
Continually exporting my notes into pdf result in endless filenames, if the file already exists: „Copy of Copy of Copy of Copy of filename.pdf“.
To prevent this, a checkbox „overwrite, if file exists“ in the pdf-export-options would be very helpful.

Toggle for "Hold to Zoom"
It would be nice to have the option to disable hold to zoom as this will often pop up when I am writing any dots, periods, or multiplication signs (I like to make them fairly visible).

Hide dock line while using Goodnotes.
The iPad dock line at the bottom interferes a lot with my hand while taking notes. I see that other apps like Procreate hide the dock line, and I need an extra gesture to get the line visible. This feature will be awesome on Goodnotes as I currently have a bad experience where an entire line of writing disappears sometimes because the iPad dock line was engaged by the bottom of my hand that was resting.

DELETE PAGE button
To delete a page we need to pass through a long process of 5 clics or so.
That's not quick enough.
A single DELETE button on the page, next to ADD PAGE, would be a solution2 votes -
Copy in GoodNotes 5 is very slowwwww.
When you're trying to copy anything on GoodNotes 5 by selecting on the lasso tool and select copy. It "always" take a few moments to load, even though the item size is very small. I don't understand why I need to wait for the program to load everytime. It's very annoying!
Ps. GoodNotes 4 and Notability do not have this problem. When I'm trying to copy, it processes instantaneously.2 votes
