Allow to move a freshly duplicate object to nearby pages
If I select a formula or whatever with the lasso tool, I can move it to another page without any problem.
However, If I duplicate something on a certain page, and then move this duplicate object into a nearby page, Goodnotes doesn't allow me to do that, and that's annoying.
As for now, to overcome this issue, I have to duplicate the desired text, leave it on the page in some empty space, and then select it with lasso to move it to the page where I want it to be.

Tool: grey out / hide parts of page. Antagonist to the highlighter
Be able to grey out entire parts of an image/page. So you could navigate/sort slides that have a lot of useless information to only keep the parts you need.
A tool where you could e.g. grey out the entire image (like lowering the opacity) and select the parts you would like to keep.
In a sense a new tool that is the opposite of a highlighter.1 vote -
add more than 3 strokes to the toolbar (like the colours)
For colours you can add as many to the menu as you want. do the same for strokes (sizes) so you can add more than 3 strokes to the menu and swipe between them.

Brush pen well-suited for writing characters
字を書くのに向いた筆ペンが欲しいです。
今ある筆ペンは絵の具みたいな筆ペンで先が丸くなりすぎるので「止め跳ね払い」が反映されなくて字が潰れちゃう。万年筆だと線を書く向きで太さが変わるけどそれはアルファベットには向いてるけど日本語を書くのには変な太さになる。1 vote -

Better Template Management
Hi I would like to suggest a better Template management system, like notability where you can just download the template and can seamlessly create new documents using that with different sizes and all.
But in GoodNotes 6, it’s a very complex process to import template and at that can only do one page at a time making it a nightmare for customising template sizes and colours.

Turn off elements, text, etc from combining with shapes
I layer elements often and use a white shape to hide parts of my planner I’m redoing- but new things I add snap to the shape automatically. I click bring to front and it won’t unsnap from the shape. It has really been frustrating and has made my planner use tedious.

Toggle Setting for Hiding Close Tabs Button
I use Goodnotes on my iPad primarily and always keep tabs open for work to refer to at any time easily. I keep these open all the time because it's either a standard of procedure that I reference like my bible or documents pertinent to a project I'm working on over the course of a couple days, weeks, or so.
I find that sometimes I will accidentally click to close a tab and not know what tab I closed. I would love for a setting to toggle hiding the close tab button to prevent this.

Study set/Flashcard Editing and Background
I really love these flashcards, but some adjustments would be great
1) if I were able to quickly edit a flashcard when in learning mode that would make things a lot easier, I can delete or add something that I just realised it needed.
2) If they could make it so you can have a preset background colour for your flashcards, rather than having to change the background colour every time you make a new study set.

"Math Assist - Insert graph" : Adjusting the x/y scaling interval
For function like y=sin(x°), the range and domain are very different ( -1 to 1 vs 0 to 360). The graph displayed is too flat for any visual understanding.
It would be great to be able to adjust the interval of x/y-axes seperately.In desmos, it is done by dragging the x/y-axes with two fingers.
In Apple Notes, it is auto-adjusted with "centered"1 vote -

Remember import destination when sharing PDFs
When importing a PDF from another app (e.g. Nebo) into Goodnotes 6, the default is always “New Document”. In GoodNotes 5 my workflow was to append the PDF to the currently open notebook. Please add an option in Settings to choose the default import destination (“Current Document” or “New Document”), or simply remember the last selected option. This would save an extra tap on every import and greatly improve workflows for users who frequently import notes from other apps.

[Text Box Style] Show Preset Colours Option
Currently, we can add preset colours to pens, highlighters, text, etc. but individually. I think it would be practical if the preset colours were added to every tool instead of having individual preset colours (example: I sometimes want my text to be the same colour as my pen, or my pen the same colour as my pencil, or my highlighter the same colour as my side notes, but I have to go fetch the colour again every time to add it to all the other tools)
Also, for text boxes, the eye drop tool is not available for the background…

Link to outline instead of page number
It would be very practical to have the option to "link" to an outline instead of a page. Currently, if you add a link to a page (let’s say page 6) and you add a new page before, your page has become page 7, but the link still goes to page 6. The links don’t follow the content, only the page numbers so it is not practical at all to add internal links.
