I'd like Goodnotes to expand its support to all Android smartphones, even if it's only for previews.
This is my first request, and since this is a machine translation, the English might be unnatural. Anyway, I would like Goodnotes to be supported on all Android smartphones, even if it's just for previews. While the iPad is convenient for almost all Goodnotes use cases, it's honestly not suitable for quick, casual viewing. Therefore, even if it's only for document previews, I would like Goodnotes to be compatible with all Android smartphones.

- allow change font i know this will mess up the spacing but we could change the line spacing ourselves
also when more tape is used, its hard to select one individual tape and insteads it selects many tape around my selction. precision could be improved

One Large Text Document for AI Generated Notes from Audio/ Pause Button
It would be really nice if we could have the option for the AI generated notes from different audio clips to go into one text doc/generated note. For example, if I had notes from one module but it took 2 lectures to get through, I could add them to the same text document. All the AI generated Notes for one notebook would be in one document. Undo/Redo Button Placement Significantly Reduces Usability
The relocation of the “Undo” and “Redo” buttons from the top right corner in GoodNotes 5 to the top left corner in GoodNotes 6 has significantly impacted usability. When using the undo function, it is essential to visually track how far changes have been reverted. With the buttons now placed on the top left, my right hand not only has to move across the entire screen(!!!), but it also obstructs the view while tapping, making it difficult to see what is being undone in real time.

That´s not an Idea it´s a bug still not fixed since new update. U can´t close the "Scan Document" feature if u don´t scan any foto. U have to restart the Program to even acces youre Documents

Snap to line/grid & Customized profile pic
Shape not snapping to grid is the only reason my friend is not switching to Goodnotes. He’s an engineer and it would be incredibly helpful. Also please allow us to customize our profile picture color at least. Right now, it’s a color that’s unlucky in my country, so I would really appreciate it.

Write with Pencil over Text Document
I mainly use the new Text Doc template and type up the majority of my notes. I'd like an easy way to add handwriting to the text document.
Also, I've noticed that it is very hard to add a phone to a Text Doc template.

Bring back Command-"-"/Command-"+" for changing text size
Why did you remove this in favor of zooming. I want to be able to change the Paragraph Style (Heading 1, Heading 2... Body, Caption) using the keyboard. This is an important feature for taking notes using the keyboard, while not constantly tapping around on screen.

Presantation mode splitscreen same document
If you want to open two pages of the same document using presentation mode (but only one page is to be projected), the new procedure is very cumbersome. I would like to see the old function returned: you open the page overview and simply drag the desired page to the other side of the screen. This would save time in class.

Toolbar colour
Please add optional UI customization for the iPad app, especially toolbar color and contrast controls. I would like a cleaner, less harsh toolbar and the ability to adjust visual emphasis, button size, and layout so the app feels more usable without changing the core Goodnotes experience.

Currently, Goodnotes AI provides solution and tutoring support for math and engineering-related topics. I hope it can be expanded to include other subjects beyond math and engineering, so users can receive learning guidance and solution support in a wider range of subjects.

The pen settings panel takes up too much screen space.
When adjusting pen settings, it seems to occupy a large portion of the display. Also, I’m not sure why tools like fountain pen, ballpoint pen, and brush pen are separated from the pencil, since they all fall under pen types. It would be better to include the pencil within the pen category and simplify the UI—similar to Samsung Notes or other note-taking apps—by allowing users to select pen types within a single pen tool. Pen-related settings could be placed under an options icon to save space.
Additionally, the animations for pen options (such as flatness, pressure sensitivity, and tip sharpness)…

Eraser that rubs off pen(like writings) ON the tape
As an a level student, found tape feature very useful, but its very annoying when you right over the tape(I study by hiding key words in notes by using tape, and fill them by pen) and try to rub off the pen on the tape, there is no feature for that.
There is a feature for removing highlighters or tapes, but not specifically pen on the tape, hope it changes, as it makes studies less efficient.

Se sabe que si deseas escribir con alguna tipografía para que la letra sea bonita sale un recuadro para escribir dentro y es incómodo. Deberían tener en configuración " embellecimiento de escritura " de forma automática como ocurre en freenotes.

Please have the option to have a "hide author" option as default when writing a sticky note. I really don't want to remove and toggle it every time I write on a sticky note. Thank you, Goodnotes!

preview order
i think we should be able to re-order the quick tools when you press on the apple pencil grip. i hate having to scroll to find what i need. if we can customize the tool bar at the top we should be able to customize the quick tools!
