Export Study Sets in various formats
I work on other apps as well and it would be great if our study sets translates to various formats such as excel.

"Add Margin" Button for writing notes on lecture slides
Allows you to add margins to select pages within your current notebook/file. This will help students who import lecture slides from a professors course page, and then they can "Add Margins" to the slides to provide additional space to take notes instead of having to write cluttered notes directly on the lecture slides. Could have multiple different margin options: increase entire border, or only add extra space above/below, or left/right of the original content.

Mirror/flip entire page.
Mirror entire page, in the same menu where I can now rotate an entire page by 90 or 180 degrees.
Use case: I want to make notes on a floor plan in an imported PDF file.
But the floor plan is a mirror image of the actual space. So I want to begin by creating a mirror image of the page. In this case, I want a mirror of the image on the PDF page. I can also see reasons to be able to โflipโ either the entire page with annotations or just an image in the imported PDF file,โฆ10 votes -
Automatic Page Continuation when Typing with Keyboard
When typing and reaching the end of a page, the text does not automatically continue onto a new page. It would be very helpful if the app automatically opened a new page when the bottom of the current page is reached, similar to other programs like Word or Pages.

Integration with GitHub
I would like to suggest integrating GitHub accounts with GoodNotes to enable synchronization between a specific repository and a designated GoodNotes directory (or a virtual directory mimicking the repository). This feature would use the GitHub API to periodically push and pull data, allowing for backup creation and facilitating tracking edits and collaboration. Considering its intended use in university settings, if the API costs become a concern, offering this functionality as part of the GitHub Student Developer Pack could be an option. I appreciate your consideration of this suggestion. Thanks.

Study set tags
Iโd like for there to be a way to โtagโ cards within individual study sets a variety of colors. For example, if I have cards related to biology, I can tag them โgreenโ and cards related to math can be โredโ. When I go to study all of my cards, I want to be able to customize how many of each โtagโ I want in my study session. For example, maybe I want to have a study session thatโs mostly Biology with some Math as well. I would customize that I want 15 โgreenโ cards and 5 โredโ cards inโฆ

[Full page Typing, Style & Formatting] Text formatting and preference for styling initial paragraphs
Text formatting
- (Some) Markdown support -- including the extended syntax
- TeX and LaTeX support (like $\TeX or \LaTeX$)
Inline codeand code blocks -- I'm not expecting syntax highlighting due to security reasons- Links
- Footnotes [^*]
Styling initial paragraphs
Most of the time, I style the first sentence of my document as Paragraph, not as Heading.
With the current unresponsive UI when using on macOS, I have to click Style & Formatting and change the style every single time. It would be great if the app could let me set my styling preference for new documents.

Pen stability, streamline, pen smoothing or whatever.
I know it's been asked a few times but none recently (from what I have seen). I think it would be the best addition for people like me who write in cursive so that our handwriting is simplified (because I put so much pressure on the pen to write neatly). Procreate has this option and it's so helpful !

To be able to see the creation day of the page
It is vital for me to see the date of the creation of my page. Some pages are memories from trips. Some notes are memories from a special event on a work dayย . I would love to be able to see the date and time, and there may be more details about the specific page. I was so surprised to find that you cannot :)

Add links for handwriting
When selecting objects written with pen or highlighter by using the lasso tool, add an option to the lasso tool which allows you to create internal and external links just like we can currently do with text!

Goodnotes 6 Heats up my device A LOT
Hi! Iโve been enjoying Goodnotes 6 a lot but I realised that it heats up a lot (Like A LOT) when using it and I use it on ipad. (Using it on ipad means I have to write and my hand gets uncomfortable and kinda red) I hope there could be a feature, like make it run smoother but emit less heat. Thanks!

Search
For Goodnotes 6, the search function is way poorer than it was in Goodnotes 5. It was now harder to search for some words that I can easily find in Goodnotes 5. I donโt want to have a downgrade though so please, please improve the search button to find more accurate.
If itโs not too much to ask, could we have an option as well to change color of searched words in search button? Because itโs only in orange color and itโs hard if we weโre using orange highlighter.
Thank you so much.

GN6: More Folder Colour options with MUTED COLOURS / Colorwheel
Pls: The New Folder Icons are WAY too big, cartoonish, and colours look GARISH!!
Please make more colour options available, to make them look at least less CHAOTIC! ( Colour wheel / Colour picker)
Changing the size of the Folders when in Gallery mode, would be VERY HELPFUL, indeed.. Or Better: Change the folder SYMBOLS in general..
( Presets or possibiltity of self-made symbols would be cool) But definetely let us decrease the size.. ( Maybe with a simple slider, +/- sign at the bottom or simply by PINCHING our fingers)10 votes -
Automatic backup: integration of pcloud.com with their API
Your automatic backup is a great feature My request: Please include https://www.pcloud.com/ in your list of backup locations.
The backup folder should be user defined.
The ability to restore GoodNotes notebooks from backup should also be implemented.
pCloud has a full API: https://docs.pcloud.com/. Maybe https://pipedream.com/apps/pcloud can help you or give you some ideas.
