solid, dotted, and even change the thickness & opacity

Frankly, I find it unbelievable that this isn't a thing yet... We can already select lines and change the color. It would be really awesome if we could select a line and switch it between solid, dotted, and even change the thickness.

Hello folks. Came to say the same thing. Love the product but not having a multi-line type tool is a real drawback. Surely after all these years it should be available? Innovate or you’ll loose the customer base

How has this not been implemented yet?

I just purchased Goodnotes and am liking it so far except for one feature I use a lot in Notability. I am concerned this feature request is not being considered seriously by the development team. This feature request was opened in 2013 and it is still not available.

Notability has this feature, dashed and dotted lines. Maybe ask them?

Offer a brush option for dotted/dashed lines. This is so important in drawing diagrams and manually dotting the line is so much messier and more time consuming. I run into this problem enough that I have strongly considered switching platforms.

Dashed lines are essential for note taking so I completely agree with this idea

For gods sake this is the only reason I’m still using notability. Once they bring the dotted lines and arrows. Will switch to goodnotes in a heartbeat!!!! PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!

Also be great to be able to add arrow heads to lines, useful as a dimension line

Very important feature that hinders anotation. Line type

being able to draw dashed lines, there is already a selection tool with temorary dashed lines, why cant you add a dahed pen? people have been asking for it för over 8 years

When I am annotating diagrams, sometimes I make minute changes to the smallest detail with the select tool, but when I am fully zoomed in, the dotted line does not decrease in size, and at times it covers everything that I am trying to select and I am unable to do any minuscule changes accurately. Thank you in advance, and I am loving the app for all my university note-taking needs!
