With the number of people requesting this, including myself, the developers should make this a priority. Your competition already has this feature and the send back and bring forward features. These are extremely useful features to have.

This would be an amazing feature. I teach piano and have to use the same pdf with different students. Layering would be amazing. In the meantime I will look at zoom notes since someone mentioned it had that option.

i would be good if we can import and manage the layers inside PDF.
(show and hide function)

We definitly need a layer system inside Goodnotes to create, delete, move
custom layers and the option to move our notes to a specific layer.

I have a brand new iPad Pro M1 and my imported PDF are very slow to handle
(it takes a lot of time to show them sharp!).

We need a ruler, triangle ruler and protractor.
and the abibility to force specific alignments for lines (0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, ...)

We need a grid a standard mm-grid (some lines are thicker than the others)
or the abibility to set a custom grid ....
a isometric grid would be also awesome!

Please. This is the simplest feature that can probably be implemented over the air. Please give me the option to disable highlighter layering. This is very annoying when doing diagrams but instead y’all add “elements” when we can already import pictures :( Please add this soon or I might have to find another app to do diagrams (like Procreate) and transfer over, which is very inconvenient in lecture. Thanks.

Sometimes, I wanna to edit the page after I did notes. Like add a picture. If GoodNotes has a function can put handwriting notes into a transparent layer, I can move it to anywhere, even move to another page. So that I don’t have to erase and write again.

This feature would be incredibly useful and is the sole thing holding me back from good notes. Please please do this as far as I can tell no note-taking app or PDF annotator has this feature and it would set it apart from competing note-taking apps.
