Improve Indention Handling in Zoom Mode
Assume that I move the zoom box to a position in the middle of the page and start writing. When I hit the end of the line or touch enter, I expect the zoom box to jump to the same horizontal position I moved it to earlier and not to the left end end of the page.
I know this can be handled by setting left indention manually. But having this kind of auto-detect left border would be a welcome addition.
Short Version:
After drag of zoom box, set left indention = x position of zoom box

And please add a feature that you can change the position of the indent more precisely. It would be also great if you could move the indent faster by holding the move left/right button

The indent feature is currently only available on the left-hand side of pages. It would be very useful to have it on both sides.

I have submitted a variation of this request here:
http://feedback.goodnotes.com/forums/191274-customer-suggestions-for-goodnotes/suggestions/40236016-set-default-zoom-window-indent-location-for-paperMy suggestion would be to set a default indentation width to match each template's margin in Goodnotes 5. Please vote above if interested.

New version does not show indentation in zoomed mode

I really miss the left AND right margins range option for the zoom box. I get the reason for the tabs but just having a settings button where this is configurable is so important for the multicolumn notes I take. Please add this back from GoodNotes 4.

Like CSMCF I'd like a visual guide to keep my writing in line down the left-hand edge. A temp setting would work, or even a margin marked on the paper would help.
I'd also like to be able to change paper colour without changing the paper layout/lines. -

In 12 months' use I've never needed to use the indent buttons on the zoom box. Does anybody routinely use these? If rarely used, maybe they could free up real estate on the menu bar? For a line- thickness slider or presets, for example.

It would be nice if returns not at the end of a line went right below where you were for writing in columns!

if the "auto detect of indentation" isn't possible, how about a little indentation drag object on the bottom of the top toolbar (which shows a vertical dotted line during dragging)?
The return key would then place the cursor one "line" down inline with that indentation setting.
Whatever you come up with, I agree something is needed. I know I'm not the only one who takes notes or makes lists in multiple columns on a single page. Doing this is a hassle with the current [drag zoom window down every time I want a new item in that column] method.
thanks in advance!

It would be also nice if there exists an indicator for the starting position of the last line.
