I understand that the lasso tool is used for moving selections, BUT users often need to move down, more than up, simply to add space. There isn't a tool for shifting anything that's too large for lasso and too small for adding a whole page.

Therefore, a specific "inserting space" function would fulfill this important need and be irreplaceable.

Personally, this is the only reason why I haven't bought GoodNotes for Mac yet, and have been using OneNote instead.

Please..please..this is the one practical feature missing from good notes..other features like the notability sound recording is more of a gimmick..but the insert space like the one that one note has is a must..

This would make the app a superior app to all others! Please add ASAP.

Yes that is the only missing feature of goodnotes for me. It would really improve the note taking experience.

I second this. A simple leading/line-height option shouldn’t be terribly difficult. The textbox feature isn’t particularly useful without it!

This is an amazing feature notability has that is extremely welcome and needed in Goodnotes. The text function in goodnotes is flawed and if you don’t use the default 24 point, you are completely out of luck and text doesn’t line up with the spacings

After importing a calendar book for the New Year, I find that I cannot adjust the height settings for the pages. This is very inconvenient. I take all of my notes in your app and spend way to much effort readjusting the text box position when I want to go to the next line on the page.

Please give more flexibility to adjusting the "height" - line spacing - for individual pages or at least for a whole document once it is created.

I fully agree with this. When taking notes I have text that should go in a previous page but there is no way to insert it other than reformating the destination page, OneNote has this ability to add lines very easy but I don't like that app except for that.

Typed sentences do not line up correctly with the notebook template or imported PDFs. In google docs, the fix for this would be to adjust “line spacing”.

This would be useful for when I want to use a text box to fill in a lined section of a PDF. Right now, it's a question of luck as to whether I can find a font size that lines up right.

insert of split text function please... so if a user wants to add notes in between lines, s/he could insert a space and write

I find the single line a little too small and the double spaced a bit too big.

Please allow for more options when spacing the distance between paragraph lines. Right now, the lines are spaced at a "double-space" distance.
