Searching within folder and phrases
It would be hugely beneficial to search documents within specific folders instead of searching all of my documents as a whole. Also, it would be helpful to be able to search for exact phrases instead of having the search broken up into single words within the phrase. Notability has both of these functions and makes searching for information a lot more efficient!

If Microsoft can do it, surely Goodnotes devs can? Or maybe not, apparently. They’re focused on developing tape.

Even Microsoft can search within folders. Why is this not a thing in Goodnotes. Makes it Badnotes tbh

Could we please get an option to search within folders? I don't always want to search through all of my notes!

I'm a medical student and I spent hours upon hours on this app.
Few critical suggestions to help my time-management
1. Specific search tool, to search within a folder or certain phrases when doing this "...", u know like the google search bar
2. Audio speed, everyone keeps recommending it. So yeah obvious. Time management
3. Sticky notes that can close and open when u click on themThose are the most important for now. I have some more in the back of my head, but those, oh boy... critical for a medstudent

I would love to have the ability to search just within a certain folder. I have a folder for each class, but being in vet school my classes overlap a lot. I would like to be able to search within a specific folder to be able to find info from just one class.
Also with the new study set feature it would be great if we could have a search function within the study set just like any other Notebook

The current search function can only see the file, not the file path. For those who have created a folder in the wrong place, it is painful not to find this folder through the search function. I have to open each folder to check where the folder is, and the search function has no effect at this time. I want the search function to tell me where the file or folder is like the search function of the Windows system.

It has been mentioned before, but it's worth repeating: Searching within specific folders would be incredibly helpful on the GoodNotes note-taking app. GoodNotes is an excellent note-taking app that works well on all systems, and it would be even better if it could be used across all platforms, including Windows. Improving the search function would be a significant improvement for everyone, especially those who rely on the app for note-taking.
Furthermore, it would be fantastic if an online collection of documents could be created. This would allow users to access their records through a secure login on a website. Finally, adding a search function to the web version would be a great feature and take the app to the next level.

It would be great if you could search the folder that you are currently in.
I have one folder for every class of my studies and sometimes I only want to lookup something from the mathematics class for example and get unrelated search results from other classes like signal processing. -

Loving the app so far but one thing I've noticed is it can be difficult to find what I am searching for due to the fact that the search covers all notes stored. It would be great to be able to search within a specific folder like we are able to do on our computers' file explorer (finder on Mac).

Hi together!
I would love it to have the possibility to search in a specific folder of my documents. Rather inside the normal search or directly inside the folder. 📁
This would be so great! 😃

– and it simply is helgful to indispensible with a larger set of Notebooks.

Congratulations on the excellent application. When I bought my Ipad I ate with NotePlus. I thought it was very good until I met Notabilidade. I haven't adapted to Good Observations 4. I don't know why. I thought that nothing could beat Notabilidade until I got used to Good grades 5. It is a revolution in the way you use PDFs and annotations. The indexing and searching offered by your applications made me buy a more powerful iPad with more storage to save everything that is pdf inside the Good Notes application.
There are searches that I do in Good Notes that take less than a few seconds, whereas in Windows with indexing application it takes longer. So never take that functionality out of your app.
Now there is only one thing left to be definitely the best app ever.
SEARCH OPTION ONLY WITHIN A FOLDER.
EXAMPLE. I HAVE A FOLDER WITH ACADEMIC ARTICLES AND ANOTHER WITH TEACHING BOOKS.
I WOULD LIKE TO SEARCH ONLY ONE FOLDER. AND NOT IN ALL FILES
PLEASE DO THIS AND DON'T LEAVE ME WITHOUT ANSWER.
And sorry for the capslock. hahahaha.
You are beautiful.
