Quick navigation to previous page / Back or Return Button
I have a suggestion that I think would make it even more useful for reading and taking notes. When I read a PDF document, I often come across references or links that take me to other pages within the document. This is especially useful when the text contains a reference number or symbol that I need to look up to fully understand the content.
However, one thing that can be frustrating is when I follow a link to a new page and then want to return to the page I was reading before. In order to do this, I have to scroll back through the PDF, which can be time-consuming and distracting.
That's why I would like to suggest that the app include a shortcut that takes the user back to the page they were reading before clicking on a link. This would save time and make the reading experience more seamless and enjoyable.
With this feature, users would be able to easily navigate back and forth between different pages and references within the PDF, without losing their place in the document. I believe this would be a valuable addition to the app and would make it even more user-friendly for people who read and take notes.

In both GoodNotes 4 and 5 PDF "Back" (last viewed page) links are broken. At least in GoodNotes 4 you had the option of jumping up to the menu and selecting "Go Back" from the navigation menu.
PLEASE either fix "Last Viewed Page" links (preferred) or re-enable the Go Back menu item. Without that jumping to a to-do list to add an item and then getting back to your notes page is really cumbersome. With it that workflow is super easy.

I strongly think so, too! I want to use GoodNotes for presentations, but animations are very annoying.

Click right or left region of a page to go to next/previous page, but without animations like in the Documents app by Readdle

I'd like this, if the next previous went without scrolling or transition. Like when shifting frames in a movie. Just instant. This would be great for storyboarding.

To quickly switch through pages (especially in larger documents, like university scripts), add arrow buttons in top menu bar to go through the document very quickly without having to switch the tool or using two fingers

Would also allow professors to use a remote to change slides!

I use GN a lot, and the difficulty in shifting between notebooks is one of the biggest frustration with the program. It would also be great if you could add a button to add a photograph. This is possible now and I use it a lot, but it takes a lot of clicks to do so each time. Otherwise it is a great app!

The current method of moving between pages doesn't work very well. Add some arrows please.

For people who use a digital stylus (Byzero, ipen, etc.), it will be must better to have the next/previous page buttons. While writing with a digital stylus, it's a nuisance having the page turn while writing when the hand is resting on the screen. If the two finger swipe page-turn could be turned off and a next/previous page button could be turned on, it would make writing with a digital stylus more user friendly.

When writing/editing it is rather troubling to have to switch to read only to go to the next page and then change setting back to write/edit. Back and forward arrows would be MUCH easier!!

Some kind of pagination at the top or bottom would much easier than the current method.

Two buttons on the toolbar for previous and next pages.
