Currently, Goodnotes allows locking individual documents with a passcode or Face ID, which is very useful for protecting sensitive notes. However, it would be even more helpful if entire folders could be locked at once.

This feature would:
• Save time by not having to lock each document individually
• Improve security for multiple sensitive notes
• Make organizing private or work-related content easier

It would be a great addition for users managing multiple documents and projects, enhancing both convenience and privacy.

The feature of locking documents provided is quite helpful, but please update it with locking a folder, all of us store specific type of documents in a folder, so locking 500 documents individually is a time consuming task, in addition to the locking documents also provide feature of locking a folder also.

I would include option to use 2FA two factor authentication. I would not use any of goodnotes cloud services without this level of file security. I think the sooner you do this more subscribers you would attract as well. Otherwise all this tool is good for is doodling generic notes imo.

It would be great if we can have FaceID support for this. Not only should it be an option for individual notebooks, folders, and quick notes, but to have the ability for opening the app itself - while also including a time feature (locking every time you exit or after 5 minutes of not using it). With the ability to choose from a combination - for instance I want to have FaceID to open the app and upon entry I want certain notebooks/folders locked for an extra layer of security.

1. Sub headings inside a folder to categorise each notebook.
2. Assign picture or cover pic for each folder.
3. An option to lock a specific folder or notebook with password.

I've been waiting for this "basic" feature for years and GoodNotes has refused to do it for years. The only credible explanation for this unwillingness is that GoodNotes wants to be able to access the contents of our personal notes. And this despite their talk about data security. GoodNotes has never given a rational explanation for not integrating this feature. This is strange and very suspicious.

Ich wünsche mir eine Option Dokumente mit Face ID oder mit dem Fingerabdruck schützen zu können. Somit könnte man private Papiere schützen vor unbefugtem Zugriff zb in der Schule oder Uni.
