[Tape] Enable Tape During Pointer Use
Please enable the masking tape feature to be opened and closed even when using the pointer mode, to make presentations and lectures more seamless.

I’d love to be able to use the Red dot (fading ink) tool at the same time as the hidden tape feature (interacting with the tape while the Red dot is activated), this will help me with active recalling info from the hidden tape easier as I can type my answer anywhere and reveal the tape without having to switch my red dot setting. It is a mild inconvenience but I’ll love for it to be changed

I propose enabling the masking tape function directly in pointer mode, so that users can efficiently manage classes and presentations without tool interruptions.
This integration would offer a more polished, uninterrupted presentation experience and support diverse teaching strategies. -

Making masking tape usable within pointer mode would streamline the user workflow and reduce unnecessary interruptions caused by mode switching.
It would make GoodNotes an even more powerful tool for educators and professionals alike. -

For a more fluid presentation experience, I request that the masking tape feature be usable while operating in pointer mode.
Being able to guide attention while gradually revealing information would be highly effective for teaching and presenting. -

Adding masking tape functionality to pointer mode would be a valuable improvement for users who frequently conduct classes, seminars, or webinars.
It would allow a more professional, fluid interaction with the displayed material and help maintain audience engagement. -

The current need to switch modes to use masking tape disrupts workflow and hinders smooth communication during lectures and presentations.
By enabling masking tape within pointer mode, users could stay focused on content delivery rather than on managing tool changes. -

Allowing the masking tape function to work in pointer mode would make GoodNotes even more efficient for teaching and presenting.
This would enable presenters to highlight and reveal key points while maintaining the natural rhythm of their sessions without awkward pauses to switch tools. -

I would like to request the ability to open and close the masking tape feature while staying in pointer mode, to avoid unnecessary tool switching.
Constantly changing between modes can interrupt concentration, especially during dynamic lectures and live presentations. Keeping both features accessible would optimize workflow. -

Could you please consider allowing masking tape to be activated during pointer mode?
Having to manually switch modes slows down the natural pace of a lesson or a talk. Offering direct access to masking tape without switching would provide a much smoother and more flexible experience for all users. -

Currently, switching from pointer mode to the pen tool in order to use masking tape is inconvenient and hinders the teaching or presenting process.
Allowing masking tape functionality within pointer mode would preserve workflow continuity and reduce cognitive load on the presenter, leading to better engagement. -

It would be much more convenient if masking tape could be used directly in pointer mode, without the need to change tools every time.
This small change would greatly enhance efficiency, especially when delivering lessons or explanations that require continuous interaction with the displayed content. -

Please enable the masking tape feature to be opened and closed even when using pointer mode, as this would make presentations and lectures far more seamless.
Currently, having to exit pointer mode just to manage masking tape causes an unnecessary break in focus and disrupts the continuity of the session. -

I would appreciate it if you could allow the use of the masking tape function while in pointer mode, without needing to switch to the pen tool.

I would like the ability to open and close the masking tape feature while using pointer mode. I often want to utilize masking tape during classes and presentations while simultaneously pointing with the pointer. However, at present, it is necessary to switch from pointer mode to pen tool mode to use the masking tape, which is cumbersome. I would greatly appreciate it if you could consider this improvement.

It is so irritating to switch back to pen, just unhide tape
It should be universal to hide or unhide whatever tool I use

While using the pointer function, I cannot open or close the tape function.
I would like to be able to turn the tape function on and off even when using the pointer function.
When giving a lesson, I use the pointer, but I have to switch to the pen tool every time I want to open or close the tape, which is very inconvenient.
