[AI] Add "Off" Button
Add an option to turn AI off. This feature is obstructive and if it has to be in the app, give users an option to opt out or turn AI off.

totally agree. It's also a security risk. Fewer people are going to be willing to use GoodNotes, esp. to develop cutting edge technical ideas, if we know that some American/Chinese company is literally spying on us and stealing our IP.

I would like to request an option to toggle Goodnotes AI on and off.
Personally, I do not need any AI features. What I seek from Goodnotes is simply a streamlined experience for digital note-taking.
If there were an option to completely disable Goodnotes AI, it would declutter the toolbar. Also, by eliminating AI background processing, the app should run smoother and faster. -

Please let us turn off *all* of the so-called "AI" features.

I understand that AI is having a big impact on new technologies and it’s amazing the big effort that you are making to include it in the app. Thanks si much.
Some people are love it. But some of us, which we don’t want (at this moment) this type of new technology, because we don’t feel it is necessary or we just want a “basic good app”, we would like to have a “swich” to disable all this AI option, because it takes to much space and resources of the app.
Thanks again for all the work!!

AGREED. I hate how tech companies are shoving this garbage down our throats and taking up UI space with it. I’d like an option to fully disable it, including the UI bloat. And honestly with how much the creative community loves using Goodnotes, it’s a slap in the face to a huge user base to be using such a predatory invention that harms creatives.

Please add a way to disable off device AI. Helps for knowing that data is secured and never sent off device to an unknown service. This would be helpful on a folder or document level. Some folks may have info is too sensitive to risk being scanned by any ai.

I agree with what has been said here. People have a right to opt out not just of using it, but of having AI features constantly pushed on them and crowding the interface. My toolbar and other features in the app are now cluttered and more difficult to use, because of AI features I have no interest in. A universal "Disable AI features" button would allow people to decide wne and if they want to use AI.

Could not agree with this more. The AI features are more of a nuisance than anything else.
It is clear that Goodnotes only jumped on the AI wagon because they thought it was a good marketing opportunity, not because they felt that it would benefit their users. The AI implementation thus far has been useless - and that's not entirely their fault, more so an issue that AI just has very limited use cases in a proper study routine.
So in short, it is unused by most users but it does slow their devices down + use more power, thus draining the battery even faster.

I am frustrated with many companies recently integrating generative AI into their products and the using it as a main source of their marketing. It feels like a slap in the face of the creativity and intelligence of the community they’ve been building so far. I have adored goodnotes for years and feel very frustrated right now.
