Typing Feature in Toolbar
Please bring back the typing tool in handwritten documents as a separate button in the toolbar.
Also, please fix the overlapping of the typing “toolbar” with the title when typing.

I’ve had the same hiccup, and having the typing tool parked up in the toolbar would smooth things out a lot. Half the time I feel like I’m playing hide and seek with the text box option. A quick-tap button would keep the flow going, especially if you switch between handwriting and typing on the fly. I’d love it if they tossed in a small toggle for default text style too, so it doesn’t reset every time.

After the latest update, I cannot figure out how to type notes from meeting in my documents. I do not want to have to enter a text box every time. How I use GoodNotes is: import document set for each talk of the program that has the speaker and title; type any notes on each page for each talk. How the update changes typing, I am no longer able to do this. This is critical for my continuing to use GoodNotes.
