Please create the option to turn off auto connection of connector lines to pre-defined shapes drawn with the shape tool. I understand this was designed for diagramming but I am picky about my notes being neat, organized, and symmetrical so I really like using this tool to draw my own figures as well as perfect arrows/shapes. However, the auto connect makes it very frustrating and annoying to use because my lines are redirected to connect to nearby shapes and there is no way of detaching them to still draw the lines where I need them to go. They cannot even be selected with the lasso tool to move if connected to another shape. PLEASE consider adding a setting to toggle this feature on and off.
