This is marked as implemented 9 months ago. I have the latest version Goodnotes 6 Pro but I don't see this feature. From the screenshots, the request is to make the audio an object on the page but I am still seeing it only at the top. Can someone clarify this for me?

Could we please add the laser pointer to this feature?

I can see how this feature would be amazing for a student during a lecture. (Although most lectures are backed by slides). I have a feeling that this would significantly slow down the app's speed and responsiveness as the number of recording clips increases. Definitely not worth it if it means slowing down the app's speed in loading notebooks/pdfs.

Idea shared in 2014, still nothing in 2022, will it ever be implemented? I think it would revolutionize everything

They have known for nearly ten years that customers want this feature (and many other essential ones) and they have ignored it. No reason to stick with this app anymore, I suggest you guys also invest in Notability, the only thing that you will miss is custom PDF outlines.

I have just moved all my notebooks back to Notability for this one feature as I am now doing requirement gathering for projects, and the audio sync is a hugely helpful feature. I love the look and feel, but when it comes down to it, I have to choose the functionality over the pretty graphics, and Notability is winning. Flash cards and other new features are lovely, but this is the biggest miss at the moment.

I’m in Microbiology; my Professor is very hard because she lectures soo fast. This would be an. Amazing feature because I could later go back and listen especially at key points! Please make this feature before I start nursing school. Or I will delete this app and buy Notability!

I cannot understand the management of GoodNotes. What do you really think of your customers?
You also know since years: The option to include Audio and video into a note taking program is a pivotal aspect in the current world. We are not living in a world of exclusive handwritten notes. Including small videos and audio files is NECESSARY for musicians, artists, scientists and everyone working in audiovisual task zones. GoodNotes should technically be able to include these elements.

Thus let me ask: Why does the GoodNotes management completely ignore the wishes of its customers? Why don't you react? You are not able to solve these problems? Or you simply don't want it?

Just add the lecture recording thing it would help y’all out so much and would bring so many customers from notability to good notes.

Literally, the only reason I downloaded notability; love GoodNotes user interface so much more, but I need to record my lectures for certain classes, which forces me to use notability.

I was about to move from years on notability to woodnotes but saw this log, and had a second thought. I think this is absolute critical for me in note taking. Won't move, at least until I see this feature I use on every note I take.
