When is the going to be updated? I would love to see this and would use GoodNotes exclusively.

It would be helpful to be able to write exponents in the text.

Very useful for autoedited PDF to prepare a lecture. That would make Goodnotes an interactive, note taking app.

to record a seperate video an audio, that it is possible to show in the video the important steps. Freeze parts as a picture in the video. That will be the futre of Learing. Or Audio video export to webpage for editing, if apple will not allow this.

Totally agree. I also use GoodNotes daily but have to switch to Notability for audio and I am considering switching to that permanently now. Do we know when audio will come to GoodNotes?

I use GoodNotes to present my university lectures in mathematics. I have held several "how-to" sessions for other instructors and the comment is always made, "If only it had audio!" With the trend of flipping the classroom and offering online classes, GoodNotes with audio would be the perfect tool. I agree with other commenters, I would definitely pay for the feature!

Please also allow the ability to import your own audio and play it back. I am a college professor and I would love to use this program instead of Power-Point. With a few minor tweaks i.e. Hyperlinks, audio import/playback and Bluetooth page turning capability, it would be the perfect presenter app! I know all of the others profs at my college would adopt it!

Absolutely agree!! Two years since this request and you have not added audio recording!!! Please do it right away

Please consider other users than just note takers here - I'm a songwriter. I appreciate the feel of writing a song on "paper" and I don't need the audio to sync with my handwriting - I just want the ability to attach multiple audio recordings per page. That way I can iterate over multiple versions of a song idea.

I would happily invest in this function and put up the capital for it. There is certainly a large demand out there for this function and It would literally make goodnotes one of the best apps around. It will guarantee you will have a loyal fan for life. I agree with Ronald Price and I think most of us would pay extra or even contribute a few dollars for it to work. Maybe a kick starter program even.. Why have you been so resistant to include this feature ? Notability is a far weaker application and the only advantage it has in the market is linked audio recording.

Yup, I'd love to switch back to goodnotes from Notability, but not doing so until the audio with audio while writing is added. It's why I went moved from goodnotes to notability in the first place.
