voice recording (while taking notes) like a Ink replay feature
I think that is essential for students and professors to have the Voice recording feature (that is recently already available on Goodnotes for iPad) on Goodnotes for Windows. This feature that allows you to replay the ink/drawings you made while taking note and the related audio recording is great and it can be the main point of why windows users should choose Goodnotes instead of other millions of note taking apps already available on the microsoft App Store.

Audio Recording Transcript and Rename Feature
As a student, I have a notebook for each class and like to record the lectures for especially difficult topics. I would like to be able to quickly review the audio files when studying; I think the rename feature is vital so I can quickly access a specific lecture topic without trying to figure out what day (or even what hour) the lecture was given. It will also help me organize topics.
I also think a separate space for an audio transcript would be extremely helpful for productivity. Not only does it help me quickly navigate the recording (e.g. jump…

Being able to show where edits are being made, like in the corner it says the page number of where you were writing at that moment in the audio reocording, would be helpful

Enabling adding voice memos (w/ ability to import audio recordings) to a specific part of the note
Enable to add voice memos just like stickers in Goodnotes…
The voice memo will be placed on somewhere on your notes/ PDF, just like how Stickers/ Memo sheets doesThis is far better than the inbuilt voice recording, which only allows you to record in live.
With this import function amd placement just like memos, ir certainly makes the experience wonderful6 votes -
Visual tracking / Slides tracking when replaying audio recordings
There is already a feature of tracking handwritings when replaying the audio recordings. But it is more useful to know which slides/pages you are looking at when the audio is recorded, especially for med school.
That way, there is no need to write each intricate details that your lecturer has said. If you’re reviewing, and you found a page that is pretty confusing, you just need to replay the recording of that page. Right now, you still need to listen back minutes of recordings just to search for a short second long clip. It is pretty time consuming.

I suggest AUDIO deleting and trimming option shall be added
Sometimes I record an audio accidentally or say something that is not useful or maybe record class audio and forget to stop recording while mid class breaks in such cases not having a deleting option and a trimming option ends up adding to my storage unnecessarily.

Audio recording: link to the page where it was recorded (and a few other things)
It’s hard to scroll though 200 pages of written notes, just to find where the audio was recorded. It would be amazing for us students, if there was an option to see what page/where the audio was recorded.
Please add an update to let us rename recorded audio files.
Change playback speed of the audio.
Add an option that automatically adds the date and time when a new page is created. (This could also help find audio recordings based on date and time of the recording, and the page)
When you draw and hold, it presets into a shape, please…

Restore recording after crash
Audio recordings should restore themselves after a crash, app restart, etc. Competitors such as Notability already have this functionality.

Good notes audio recording improvements
We need to be able to skip to the audio part that we need by clicking on the writing that has been written at that moment. The feature already exist on notability and collanote. Thank youuu

Navigate through a single recorded audio
It would be useful, once a single recording is selected, to be able to show only that single audio in the toolbar and not all the recordings glued together, because the more recordings one has, the harder it becomes to navigate them with precision and accuracy.

Visualise Audio Recordings for easier navigation
It would be great to a have a "visual graph" of the audio recordings (volume level).
Use case:
While listening to a recording of a long lecture\meeting you can easily navigate to parts with higher volume (speaking parts) and avoid silent ones.3 votes -
Audio recording function not working well when I set tool position on the bottom
I prefer setting tool position on the bottom because it reduces moving distance of my hands. (I'm using apple pencil 1 gen.) In this case, UI for recording shows below the icon so that I can't see what's going on, and it shows on top of tool bar.
I hope it gets better very soon.2 votes -
Video and Audio Recording
I wish your app could allow Video and Audio Recording and producing nice tutoring videos similar to what possible in Doceri.
Your app is much more user-friendly and performs way better than Doceri in any aspect, but unfortunately, it misses that feature.23 votes -
Automatically transcribe audio recordings and choose whether or not to copy parts of the transcribed text into our notes
I work with both audio and text. For example, when I have a lecture recording, I listen to it but I also prefer to write it down because it makes it easier for me to go back to the information. I'm not able to write down everything because it's a lot to manage but I still get tired of doing it manually. I wish I had a tool that would transcribe the audio for me and I can just copy & paste the parts that I want into my notes. I'm thinking of how Youtube automatically adds subtitles to videos…

Sound Clips vs Audio recordings
I’m learning a tonal language and would love to be able to create separate recordings for my notes. One Note has audio recording ability, but it’s ONE single clip. I’d like to be able to write a word or phrase and put a sound clip associated with it.
A wolf sounds like :
A coyote sounds like:Just make this feature already = I see request for recording that is 9 years old ....you’re so close to a perfect product
