Add space for researchers
First thank you for your priceless. application. It’s really enjoyable to take notes.
As a researcher, I need to read and annotate lots of papers. I would appreciate it if you could add a feature that allows me to write out the outline. I show it in the attachment. It will help organize and make annotation more enjoyable. Also, it gives us more space to make a connection between different articles.3 votes -

Be able to type arrows
I know ms word has this function but it would be really great if we could type arrows like insert symbol in MS Word.
I know writing is the best way to remember, but sometimes I don’t have time to write slowly then being able to type a symbol is really helpful….. especially when you have a lot of notes to make.4 votes -
binder
I'm a therapist, in 3 jobs, if I had an option to open a binder, then I would have 3 one for each job and each separation from the binder a client, and every time the client comes back I already have the continuation in the binder and separation from him

Reverse Mod in Card's Smart Revise Regime
It would be useful to add reverse mod in Card's Smart Revise Regime so you can choose not only by the question but by the answer too. Same idea is now realized in Training Regime.

hide cursor in goodnotes MacOS
To use Goodnotes under MacOS with a Wacom tablet, a hide cursor feature would be absolutely mandatory. Write from styluslabs has such a feature. It is actually rendering handwriting impossible if there is always this crosshair cursor present.

Mirror iPadOS-App behavior in MacOS-App when clicking Documents or Favorites
Clicking on Documents or Favorites in the MacOS-App while being deeper in their folder structures doesn't return you to their respective root folder.
I'd like to see the same behavior implemented as in the iPadOS-App where you do return to the root folder.

GoodNotes for macOS is Awful
GoodNotes for Mac used to be great before they switched to Catalyst. These problems have persisted for years and keeps getting worse.
Problems:
- Can't print notes with images - None of the images actually print out, just blank space. This sucks when you make your notes in GoodNotes and want to print them out to prepare for lecture.Can't drag-and-drop images anymore. No pasting from a Word document, or cut/paste from Preview.
Importing an image comes in with weird sizing
Crop tool is missing when right clicking on images and it depends on the type of image format

Allow us to make our own digital planners
The creation of the market place where we could buy the designs of other creators, which is a great chance to support creators. However other apps are required to design and build the functionality of these planners, as the necessary tools are not available within goodnotes. The addition the necessary tools to your app will allow individual users to design their own planners specific to their needs, will expand on the creativity and personalisation of the planners, expanding on who can create planners without needing other apps to do so.

insert pdf files
I previously submitted feedback that it would be nice for goodnotes beta to be able to import pdf files. I got the response that this is already possible but after multiple tries and lots of googling I found out that this still isn't the case. So hereby I try again.

Change formatting elements of ONE word
My suggestion is to add a feature that enables changing the size, font, color etc of individual words within the same text box, without affecting the formatting of the entire text. This would provide more flexibility and precision in formatting text, and make it easier to create professional-looking documents.

Study set : smart learning mode
When checking the answer in smart learning mode, I would like you to choose the action in which the card is turned back. Although the action of the card turning backwards is intuitive, it is difficult because it takes a long time to keep checking multiple things.

ADD PAGE MARGINS when exporting to PDF
The implementation of this feature will be similar to that of Notability. When exporting to PDF, include a toggle to add margins to the final PDF. This will improve the appearance when printing and may also enhance functionality if someone needs to staple pages or add annotations.

Flipping Images and Writing
While I enjoy the rotate and resize tool, I feel that inverting images should be implemented! It's useful for drawing (take chemical figures) or plain symmetry for digital note-taking.

snap to original size
when resizing handwriting or images, allowing the user to snap back to the original size would be helpful as some people may only want to rotate/change orientation of the object without changing size.
