1. Flash card

   says: Would you please send this up as a feature request? I’m making bird ID cards for a trip to Hawaii. For the answer, I would like the common name, the Hawaiian name and the scientific name (those are traditionally indicated by different italicized fonts). This is much easier to use than Anki, but flash card formatting is a bit limited. Bullets would be nice too (make another card with important field marks list.

   I would LOVE if there was a way to add audio file, so that the bird makes its noise when you look at it. It seems there are no audio field guides to Hawaii, so this is the best I will rig!

   I will add some sample flash cards from another program that is not as user-friendly. One side has the name of bird, the other side has name, but also well-known place to see it.

   Would be excellent to have tags to sort. For example, within birds in Hawaii are Endemic, Non-Native/Inteoduced, Migrants; birds could be sorted by island, or by family (sparrows versus honey creepers vs shorebirds).

   Then if I wanted to study only endemic species of Kauai, that would thin it down quite a bit.

   But some of the migrants are in the lower 48! So nice to have a tag that filters specific shorebirds, so when I needed to study all my shorebirds, the ones that might be in Hawaii would also be present.

2. [Integration] ToDoist

   Many of us use Goodnotes to take notes but are also using to do apps/task management apps (e.g. Todoist, SkedPal) to keep track of our work. We used to be able to take handwritten notes, convert to text, and then run a shortcut that would push it out to todoist; however, that seems to be broken. Any foothold you can provide that would allow for easy integration to a task management app would be amazing - I’d be able to quickly move my todos out of my notes and into my task list and I’d be so productive (…granted I’d still have to actually do the things…)

6. Outline window should move automatically linked with main window

   In a document like 400 pages long, you will need to know where you are in the entire document, then Outline window is necessary. Currently the outline window is not linked to the main window, that means when you open 113 page in the main window, the outline window when opened shows first few pages(not linked to the main). You will need to scroll the outline window down to 113 pages, this is not helpful and kills the usefulness of outline window function. The paper based note has power of “at a glance” recognition/grasp of entire document size, PDF need to match the paper by giving more power to the Outline window.

7. More Pdf Reading/annotion options

   I understand the app is optimized for note taking, Pdf reading and annotation comes second. Yet,Goodnotes became my main go to app. Can you please work on improving the app Pdf/reading features. Top apps in that category are GoodReader, Pdf Expert, PDF viewing…etc

8. Dictionary or Translator Request

   For requesting dictionary or translator, other apps such as Book in all iOS can do touch or tap in PDF file so I can read and take note in PDF file that is academic paper for taking some importance note like unknown word's for better understanding when I comeback to read.

   I feel a bit sad when my GoodNote cannot do like that. However, I don’t sure it’s hard or not if developer will add dictionary or translator into GoodNote by default.

10. notes beside

    I am sad that a similar request had been closed so im trying again: to have the possibility to make a note sheet beside the script but in the same document would be awesome! I struggle a lot with this in Goodnotes, I use the app for all my university stuff and when I go through the documents I always have to insert a clear page and scroll. it would be nice to get some sort of note sheet or postIt beside. That would also be very practical if we want to export all the notes out the document.
    I would love to have this function in the future! Thank you for this amazing app

11. Shortcut for Adding Favorite Pages in GoodNotes

    Dear GoodNotes Software Engineers,
    As a regular user of GoodNotes, I am writing to share a concern and a suggestion that I believe would enhance the user experience. I have attached a photo to illustrate my point.
    As an accountant, I frequently use payroll forms and other specific templates in my work. However, adding these favorite pages to GoodNotes currently requires me to navigate to the main menu and import them each time. This process is somewhat cumbersome and time-consuming.
    I would like to propose the addition of a new feature: a dedicated tab or shortcut within the app that allows users to save and quickly access their favorite pages. This would streamline the workflow for many users like myself who rely on specific templates and documents regularly.

    Sticky Notes
    - Sticky notes should impose text size when resized
    - Text should be stuck on the sticky note and not laying on top of it
    - Allow sticky notes to go outside of a page
    - add a tethering point which can tether a specific point on the notebook, and a spot on the sticky note which will allow for it to be moved while also maintaining its connection to the text

13. Better zooming in the Windows App

    It would be really cool to be able to press "Ctrl" on your Keyboard and use the mouse scroll-wheel to zoom in and out on a page on the Windows App. This would make navigating the App on Windows much easier and more intuitive.

16. CANT SEE WORDS I WRITE WITH PENCIL TOOL

    I really like the new pencil writing tool, it’s definitely my favorite to write with in terms of smoothness and just what I like for journaling - but I can’t actually use it because it’s SOOO LIGHT. Like its opacity is WAY WAY DOWN. Can it be like an actual pencil?? So I can write with it and actually be able to read it??

    Being able to change emails.due to update I had realise that I had purchased the onetime deal on my school email I through it would be under my Apple ID which was a stupid mistake.due to going to university now I would like to change it to my own personal email as the school email may soon be deleted.i try to find anything related but no answer so far

18. Cross-platform Sync

    We need a kind of way to sync it cross-platform without needing to use iCloud... I'd love to have my files on my PC and access on my Ipad or phone without having to ALWAYS export it. I don't use iCloud... and I can't even share it using a local sharing or a sharing using any other cloud service as the base for it.

    As a Physics teacher I have to do so much calculations while solving numerical. It will be very helpful if we have apple math notes with all the features like graph plotting and variable detection etc integrated to goodnotes.
