Exam mode for future paperless-exams with digital handwriting would be helpful for teachers, students and climate change.
Hello guys,
I've got a cool idea :). If you could implement a safe exam mode where the teacher can upload an exam and students can answer it on GoodNotes and if they leave the tab, the exam gets ended (just like exam.net). That would be excellent for teachers, schools, students which love their iPads and also helpful for the climate change.2 votes -

Make full use of the screen space for the toolbar
With the recent update bringing the welcome change of more than 3 colors in the toolbar, and then the return of the 3 pen widths, the toolbar has become more crammed on the right side.
There is some unused space on the left side of the toolbar, and now would be a great time to make use of that space for when the iPad is in horizontal mode and has more than enough space to accommodate all the regular icons

Tab Groupings
Chrome has a feature where you can group tabs together. Can we get something like this in goodnotes so that we can group different note tabs together? I have many notes open at once, and it would be nice if I could group their tabs together so its more organized.

Add a function that move the page to the center of the screen
I hope the app can add the function that move the page edge to the center of the screen so that i can write easily on the page edge！

Crop/reshape photo of screen so it's straight again
I often take pictures of the chalkboard/slides in class and put it in my goodnotes.
The square board is warped into a trapezoid because of perspective.
I'd like a crop-function where you place the corners where they should be (make a trapezoid on the original image) which then is reshaped into a rectangle in goodnotes.
This would be extremely useful.
Google photos already has this feature if you need examples :)3 votes -
Saving scanned documents takes too long
On both the iPhone and iPad, when I scan a document (not necessarily multiple) and click "Save", it takes too long to import the document/s I scanned. Sometimes the time it takes exceeds a minute. I hope you release an update to expedite the importing time because when I scan documents with Apple Notes, it saves them instantly.

Easy way to replace pencil color palates between dark colors (dark colors to write on white/light pages and bright colors to write on black/dark pages)
Replacing all colors while switching documents and pages can be annoying.

I'm using the letters of the presentation well when I study them or as a scribe, but I want to adjust the size of the letters and the time when the letters disappear.

It would be very useful to be able to temporarily hide folders or documents.
When in school or in Uni we often have a lot of different subjects, thus it would be handy to be able to hide the ones that are currently not used to make the "document" page more organized without having to permanently delete the unused documents.4 votes -

Navigate through a single recorded audio
It would be useful, once a single recording is selected, to be able to show only that single audio in the toolbar and not all the recordings glued together, because the more recordings one has, the harder it becomes to navigate them with precision and accuracy.

Desired improvements for the workflow: Deeplinking and individual saving in databases.
So if someone has set up a database like DevonThink or their own folder hierarchy, they cannot save a GoodNotes file there. This is an extremely significant disadvantage for the workflow. Additionally, there are no deeplinks for individual documents or folders, which hinders the workflow when working with mind maps or similar tools.
I kindly request that GoodNotes improve in terms of deeplinking and individual saving.

improve automatic snap of lines to circle: change position of circle anchor points
I often use the automatic snap/straighten feature to straighten lines and attach them to circles.
However I get mad every time because the snap feature attaches the line at odd positions on the circles. I would expect lines to be attached at points distanced by 30 or 45 degrees.
What happens is that every time I have to edit manually the attach position of the line.
You can see from the image and the short video that the straight line is tilted.
Can this issue be fixed?
I also attach the same example with two rectangles: there is no issue…

Writing box jumps to different location
Is it just me?
- You look at a part of your page
- select the writing box
- and it jumps to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT part on the pageSo you then have to zoom out, orientate yourself, and then zoom back in to where you were originally trying to write.
Clearly a programme glitch. Please look at this quick-win Mr/Mrs Engineer.
A completely brilliant indispensable programme, so well thought through, I rave about it to everyone......apart from this INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING jumping.

Matrix or 2D page addition.
I want to have a matrix (horizontal + vertical) note taking. Like I want to pages in both horizontal and vertical direction of the main page. Like 2 D. Please add this.
