I am getting a touchscreen Chromebook but since this app isn't available on the Chrome Web Store, I won't be able to use it. Having Goodnotes on my other devices would be extremely helpful because I take my laptop to school and use it for all of my assignments.

Allow to insert image from clipboard
We are already able to copy an image to clipboard with the lasso tool.
Would be great if we could insert that image later again.
At the moment we need to safe it to photos and insert it from there, which can quickly mess up our photos.4 votes -

Hanwriting recognition like MyScript Nebo
The combination of free style drawing like in GoddNotes4 and the way MyScript Nebo handles the handwriting recognition (inline) would be absolutly amazing. The organizing of notebooks, the template handling ... nearly perfect in GoodNotes, the hadwriting recognition of MyScript Nebo ... excellent. And now, please, combine it.

Page number not starting with cover
Do not start page numbering with the cover. Just like a book the number should start after the cover. Ideally I’d like the option of selecting where it starts, that way I can add my own TOC (journal summary) and not number the TOC page(s).

Adding more pen/brush/colouring tools
It would be really beneficial to add another pen tool along the banner (alongside the pen and highlighter tool) which allows a much larger pen size design for colouring in, allowing for ease in drawing diagrams etc. Currently, the pen tool does not go large enough and the highlighter tool overlaps the colour making a block colour difficult to achieve. Additionally, rather than just giving you a circle as the pen stamp, squares or lines could be added as brushes.

Please allow us to change the thickness and colour of handwritten notes AFTER
Currently we are unable to change the colour and size of thickness of handwritten notes, please do make it happen as I have no time to rewrite the whole notes after class

Is there a way to import all my iOS notes to GoodNotes at once, batch process?
I will be more likely to use GoodNotes if I can import my IOS notes all at once, (I would not take the time to copy and paste one by one, it would take too long). Is there any way to do this?

I take notes for grad school using your app. You have categories. But within those categories I want to be able to organize into sub categories based on the modules that are being covered

Different "preset" shapes and define "custom" shapes
We should be able to add shapes from a predefined set of shapes from the developers. Plus we should be able to save our own custom shapes like for eg a rectangle with different length and breadth or a elliptical shapes etc

Add a function of inserting page numbers
Could you guys consider to create a function that users can insert page numbers to files so that it's more convenient for users to arrange when they printed it out as well as going through their notes in devices.

- OneDrive

The ability to use the app on my surface pro!
I hate that I can't use Goodnotes on my Surface Pro, My job is office based, we don't have ios, and it sure would be nice to use my digital planner...or at least a web based option.

A search engine to find highlighted text on iPad
In PDFs, normally I highlight the most important information, and at the end I want to see in a list, all the sentences that were highlighted.
Please make this happen for a next update!

The original pdf file has PDF all lies but when I take notes and Export it to another application, all PDF outlines are lost it, so I would like to keep PDF outlines

add smoothing for curves
like in illustrator when it automatically smooths curves. i am in organic chemistry and drawing a lot of reaction mechanims and everything looks stellar except for my shaky curves

A good backup option.
A good backup option. Studying and my iCloud got full. Backed up on box. But later lost most files. Please fix. Need a good backup option asap.
