Move writing without moving drawing
It would be nice to have the ability to select the writing you have on top of a drawing and just move the writing. I often have hand writing on top of a drawing, but want to move the handwriting, but if you lasso it, the drawing is also picked up and the entire thing moves. It would be great if you could just select the writing to make diagrams and notes easier to align.

More options when resizing shapes
I would love to be able to draw a rectangle (for example) and then have the option to increase length or width individually. Sometimes the app reads my proportions wrong when I create a shape and it Luke be nice to fix one side without increasing the entire shape.

insert 3D-Lidar Scan Objects (as Link)
On my measurement I use a Goodnotes-File and a 3D Lidar-Scan. So I need to bring the Lidar-Scan (or a Link to the Lidar-Scan) in my Goodnotes-Document.

Adding multiple blank pages
Would love to be able to add a few blank pages so that while taking note we can just continue writing instead of having to pull vertical/horizontal to create a new page. Sometimes I have to sit before class and create the number of pages I estimate I’ll need in order to have the space.

Include the single finger panning toggle on the pop up menu that shows up within a document.
When scrolling within a PDF and then making annotations it’s convenient to change from single finger panning (on/off) to enhance scrolling and palm rejection. If single finger panning is on while making annotations, the page moves. But if it’s kept off, when it’s time to scroll, it’s a bit difficult when scrolling multiple pages with two fingers. An easily accessible toggle would be ideal.

Propose more qualities of scans (best / medium / low / black and white) to permit a lower size of the files.

scanned documents aspect ratio
When Scanning for example an A4 document, it is „placed“ on the GoodNotes standard aspect ratio, creating white unused space next to it. It would be nice to either be able to select the aspect ratio or that the document is simply imported just like a normal photo (not placed on any white background with the wrong aspect ratio)

Photo Alignment for Borders of Photos
is there any sort of implementation you guys are able to do that allows users to align photos that are uploaded/inserted into the app? Either snapping photos to each other or just knowing when the border of one photos is aligned to another - maybe even to the middle/center of document as well? Screenshot is attached, see blue lines for example!

Scroll beyond page to write on page bottom comfortably
It would be handy to be able to scroll beyond the page. This would enable me/us to write on the page bottom while the hand palm is still resting on the screen instead of having it resting uncomfortably on the edge of the device.
Otherwise I LOVE the app and your pricing. Keep up the good work :)

Easier Interface For Making New Notebooks
Please make it simpler to add/create notebooks; I am constantly struggling with finding the correct paper size/cover size. I wish it would just tell me what each page is set to (size-wise) so I can figure out which cover/paper to choose. Every time I set up a new one with specific configurations it makes a cover way smaller than the paper to write on on the next page or vice versa.

define words (dictionary) not working in mac OS 12.4
While there is a button named "define" on the right click list, it is not working or popping anything up. I'm wondering if anyone is facing the same problem.

Delete in pen ocr menu
When using Apple Pencil in OCR mode, the pencil menu offers return, keyboard. A delete key rather than undo (or both) would save having to open the keyboard and then close it again. A great app thank you.

Quick scroll using side bar
I want to be able to use the scroll indicator on the right of the page to quickly scroll through the document, rather than using the galley feature.

Offline data storage
Enable File Storage without iCloud backup - My daughter is halfway through her sophomore year in college and loves (we all do) good notes. Her first years data is taking up several mega bytes of data (almost 32) which is all the memory she has on her iPad. As she continues we will obviously have to buy a new iPad and storage but would be great to be able to save that first years data to an offline file for use down the road to refer to and or share with friends. Good notes rocks, please add that feature!

Toggle function for enlargement tool
I often use enlarging tool for specific area. However, when I use this, blue area always emerges in the left side and it is really useless.
I want the toggle function to the enlargement tool for GoodNotes.

Customizable UI
I really love Goodnotes, it‘s an awesome app I use everyday in my school-live. But please add settings, that allow the user to customize the color theme. So that the bar on the top and also selection-tools are in a color the user prefers. Also a setting to set the position of the tools to the left or the right side of the app. Lastly please add support for I-Work and MOffice so the user is able to create, edit and document those documents. Thanks a lot.

Arquivo retirado do Google Drive, modificado pelo Goodnotes, retorne à pasta de origem dentro do Google Drive
Entendo que seria muito interessante que o Goodnotes, assim como outros leitores de pdf como Xodo, Noteshelf, Microsoft Edge etc, fizesse a sincronização automática dos arquivos retirados do Google Drive. Atualmente, a única coisa que o Goodnotes faz é enviar o arquivo modificado para uma pasta separada dentro do Google Drive. Seria interessante que o arquivo retirado do Google Drive, depois de alterado pelo Goodnotes, retornasse para a mesma pasta de origem do Google Drive.

please improve lasso tool
For example, I have a paragraph converted from handwriting to text, but I only want to move a few of the words, it would be nice if the lasso tool could move only the selected text.
Now the lasso tool if the text is converted together, when using the lasso, move a few of the words, it will move the whole paragraph together, (because the text converted together, the app will think in the same text box)

change the name of the trash
Hello there!
I wanna ask you to change the word "move to trash" to something like "delete" or something like that, I don't like the fact that you say about some notes "trash".
As you can know sometimes we delete a valuable note just because it is duplicated or some other reason not because it is a trash1 vote
