Highlighter marks turn to pen color
Turning the highlighter marks into pen colors (this will obscure the text, which is what I need) allows me to temporarily hide the key word and turn them into fill-in-the-blank questions that I can memorize

Paste Function
I study Economics, and I wish that I don't have to draw the charts and other drawings all from scratch each time. If there was a place where I can draw it once and assign it under a specific name then when I want to plug it in, I just write the name I assigned it to it. That would save tons of time!

Scroll without hiding toolbar
While editing a document scrolling is possible only with fingers but doing so smudges the screen. Scrolling should be possible without hiding toolbar.
To write or edit: select a tool.
To scroll: tap on last used tool thereby disabling it.For reference: try annotation feature of One drive on iPad.

Drehen
Trennung von Drehpunkt und Größenanpassung.
Aktuell ist es kaum möglich ein markiertes Objekt zu drehen ohne dass dabei die Größe verändert wird.
In der Version 4 waren die Funktionen getrennt, was einfach optimaler war. Ist es in Version 5 vielleicht auch möglich die Funktionen wieder zu trennen?
Nachdem ein eingefügtes Element um 90Grad gedreht wird, rastet es nicht bei 90Grand ein sondern bei ca. 89 oder 91Grad. Das geschieht nicht, wenn das Objekt mit dem Lasso markiert und gedreht wird. Lässt sich das optimieren?4 votes -
Please let me use PAGE UP & PAGE DOWN buttons in MacOS
Pretty basic and I can't believe it doesn't work yet. If I have to read through a document on MacOS I need the PAGE UP & PAGE DOWN buttons to work please.

Setting notebook specific elements and presets
Make it so I can set which groups of elements I would see in which notebooks. Along with color presets and line widths. If I am in my budget planner I would like to see different elements than with my daily planner. I also use different width pens and different colors. Rather than seeing long lists.

Speechify
I am autistic and have ADHD and I use Speechify to read out loud any documents that I read. I am studying an engineering degree and use GoodNotes for all my work. I would love if you could somehow include a Speechify extension in GoodNotes so I don’t have to use two devices.

Switching Page Color afterwards for print
Having written black pages with white font color, it would be great to just switch to the negative (page turning white, white font color changing black, the other colors don’t change) to print the notebook.

It would be nice to rename existing files. I noticed that recently you are able to rename files when uploading. Please also give the option to rename after uploading.

Auf unseren Lehrer iPads steht uns die iCloud wegen Einschränkungen leider nicht zur Verfügung. Es wäre super, wenn man auch über andere Cloud Dienste synchronisieren könnte.

Allow note taking in margins
When we shrink the note size, there are a lot of margins on the sides. I'd like to be able to take notes on these side margins, please! My lecture slides are not big enough, so it'd be so nice to be able to create some extended margins to the sides to make notes. Thank you! please please please ❤️

Import PDF comments from other apps
As long as I cannot import the yellow stickie comments from Acrobat into GN, this app is unfortunately useless to me.

Ideas about content and page number
I hope that you can added two useful functions to the app.
The first one is that let the user modify the code of book, that is, let the user customize the first page of books. The users can not go to according page that the content tell us because the page number in the app is a sum equals the later page number add the content，including the cover. That's really make me crazy.
The second one is that Increase the level of the outline. We can add the page to the outline, but we can not set the lever…

Presentation mode
Hi guys,
Not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue, but recently I have started using iPadOS 16 on my iPad Pro which comes with a bunch of new features including dedicated external display support. However, with an external monitor connected, GoodNotes forces me into presentation mode meaning I cannot use my external monitor for anything other than displaying my notes.
This is a real issue when I’m studying as I cannot read my lecture notes or watch my lecture online on the external display. This leads me to having to use regular notes for iPad to bypass this…

Reveal tool for presentation mode
When 'Mirror Presenter Page' or 'Mirror Full Page' is active, it would be useful to be able to progressively reveal elements.
I imagine this would be grouped with the laser pointer tool and when selected would dim or reduce the opacity of all elements on the page in the device view but hide them on the external display. The tool would then function like the inverse of the eraser (stroke, standard or precision, different pen sizes) to reveal the elements. Selecting another tool would reveal all elements again (no saved state) and selecting another page while the reveal tool is…

conversion text can be replaced directly
I hope that the handwritten conversion text can be replaced directly onto the converted text instead of needing to copy and paste.
