Show excerpts for each instance of a search term found on one page
Currently, when you search for a term, the search drop down menu will only show an excerpt of the first instance that the search term is found on a page. Often times, however, a term appears more than once per page. It would be beneficial to see an excerpt of each instance the search term is found.
For example, if the term "Australia" is found 4 times on page 53, there should be 4 excerpts of page 53 showing each instance where the term Australia appears.

Forms Collection
During my studies i use GoodNotes 5 every day and i love it.
But in some lectures we uses some symbols and characters often. And therefor is my idea.
Is there a possibility to creat an own library for often uses symbols?
That i only have to draw them once and save them in „my own symbols library“?
For example the summation sign (∑), or the drawing of electrical schematics with resistors, capacitors etc.4 votes -
More Mac-ish interface for the Goodnotes 5 Mac App
The Mac App seems like a waste of money, because it is exactly like the iPad app's interface, except on a Mac. Please make it more like Pages or other native Mac apps.

Pen weight
Go from 3 to 5 standard pre-set pen weights. I find the jumps between the 3 weights you offer too big and my perfect weight would be between your thinnest and middle one. I suggest to mimic the 5 pen weights Apple offers in the IOS Notes pen integration.

Drag and Drop notes as images on Mac
The current drag & drop feature copies notes as a PDF file. (http://feedback.goodnotes.com/forums/191274-customer-suggestions-for-goodnotes/suggestions/19716046-export-individual-pages-using-drag-and-drop-mac-a)
However, It's sometimes desirable (and easier to view) if I copy them as images (to email app, iMessage, other note-taking app like Bear, etc.). I wish there is an option to select images over PDF.4 votes -
Thumbnails page on computer app showing your current slide
On computer app, when you press the thumbnails page, it doesn't open to your current slide and display that prominently. I have to scroll and look for what slide I was just studying from / annotating. If this could be fixed and displayed more clearly, it would be very helpful.

Create the possibility to create linkable symbols (and build up an automatic index from it)
Let the users select some text and create a linkable symbol attached to the selection. With this, it would be possible to create links to these symbols.
At the first release, an index could be built from all linkable symbols in the notebook.
In a second release, it could be possible to create tags for linkable symbols and create index for specific tags (i.e.: #indexEntry, #sourceReference)4 votes -
Select multiple pages in the function where you have the overview of your document/ notebook
There is this button on the top left corner with four squares, where we could shift the pages around, flag pages, save them into the content page. But its stupid how we can't select multiple pages (or maybe its just that i cant figure out how). So if i want to select some ten pages and move them up, or delete them altogether, or export them, I can't.
But overall, I really like Goodnotes and the feature I love the most about them, is them constantly listening to our feedbacks and improving their interface.

a way to easy create outlines from the colors of your titles or other texts
A way to create outline by using a color recognition that show you all the titles you wrote or fluoted in that color so that you just have to click to make an outline of it

photo editing
Changing the colour or a photo, in particular to black and white, so that you can highlight features better. Would be an incredible feature for anyone studying anatomy, and wanting to highlight a specific nerve/ muscle...

Add an option for using a specific tool when holding down with one finger and using Apple Pencil.
The App "Flow" has a feature that allows the user to assign a tool to be used if the Apple Pen is used while the user holds a finger down anywhere on the screen. This is very handy to quickly switch to "Lasso Tool", or anything else really. It would be great to have this in GoodNotes too.

When converting handwritten note to text please use the original color of the pen for the font
Hi,
For example, when we're using a red pencil and convert it to text the fond of the text become black. Can you add an option so by default the color of the font is the same as the original handwritten note?

Text editing with tool bar on the bottom
If you use GoodNotes with the tool bar at the bottom instead of at the top (being left handed I find it way more comfortable) it’s impossible to edit any typed text.
When I select some text in order to edit it, the “text edit“ icon is hidden by the keyboard, therefore I’m unable to tap on it. However, if I dismiss the keyboard, the text is not selected anymore, therefore I can’t edit it.
A floating “text edit“ icon that pops up when text is selected could be a solution.4 votes -

Turning pages faster
Turning pages is really slow/difficult since the function overlaps with moving around the document, and you have to drag your finger a lot to turn a page. I’d like a way to do this much easier, maybe a two finger flick.

Annotation for PNG files
Drawing on PDF files is great and I use Goodnotes all the time to move files from my Box account to the iPad and back. I would really like to be able to do the same thing for PNG files - to be able to annotate pictures with Goodnotes to/from my Box account. Most of the iPad apps that work with pictures only have access to Photos, and not to Box (and other cloud storage).
