Turn off comment option when drawing or highlighting.
I have had a problem for a couple of months. I use Good notes for tutoring, and I use the highlighter or drawing features a lot on imported text documents. When my students try to draw or highlight, "the comment" option frequently appears. It is very sensitive if they hold down the key for too long. This is annoying and frustrating for them. How can I turn off the comment feature?

Move Page further to the left or right (when using vertical scrolling) for comfortable writing
This is a major problem for people who like to utilise the whole length of the lines/all of the margins.

from time to time the text box would duplicate itself until you close it. meaning if you change something in the textbook it won't change.
the textbox tool is broken.
when using the text box and tapping the screen (even if using the on-screen keyboard) the textbox will undo ( and it won't be reversible ) so you will need to retype everything. furthermore, it keeps this weird overlay of way should have happened if it would work correctly or something that should have been deleted but for some reason stays. and when switching pages and then editing a textbox you will get "teleported" into a random previewed page. and if the pages are similar you might rune some notes.2 votes -
turn off document autocenter

could you make it possible to turn off automatic document centering? I need to move the document to the left so that the edge of the sheet does not rest against the edge of the tablet. it is very inconvenient to have the hand rest on the edge while writing.

Make it harder to duplicate a document
Please add a confirmation button to the duplication shortcut. "command D" duplicates my notebooks and makes my good notes crash. I accidentally press it instead of "command F" which is search quite often.

Annotated Pages Menu
GoodNotes should implement a feature to filter out only pages with annotation, side by side with the outlines menu.

Proper written text formatting
Dear GoodNotes team, please improve the formatting of written text so that it is placed correctly on a page (e.g. like in Notion or Microsoft Word). I crave for such an improvement, as it would be the solution to the only problem I have with GoodNotes!

password for restricted editing pdfs but not the whole pdf
For small businesses, it is important to keep your intellectual properties to yourself.
We spend countless hours creating spreads, and I want to restrict some parts of it so that the spreads cannot be manipulated but users can still write on the pdf and add pages. Sort of like flattening the spreads as a background image with links instead of shapes that can be extracted.
However, when i restrict editing with a password in adobe reader, I have to type in the password before I can open the document in goodnotes. Is it possible to import the pdfs as a…2 votes -

Basically, Good Note UI is for Student Note. So Page Size is not Flexable ( It has Empty Parts of App )

Shortcut for Preset Pen/Highlighter/Shape/Eraser Colors and Sizes
I like the presets that you can customize on GoodNotes and having the keyboard shortcuts makes it easy to use a macropad to help ease my workflow even more!
I would like to take it a step further by having key shortcuts for quick selecting the preset colors and sizes so that I don't have to lift my pen off away from the writing area to select a color or change my tool size.
It's a small thing, but I think it would really be cool to implement this feature or something similar for people who really want to optimize…

Double tap to close tab + Restore deleted tab
It is so easy to accidentally close a tab/page. Please tweak the close tab button to be double tap.
Would be nicer if you add a function to restore deleted tab.

Import Google Docs and Slides
Despite Google Drive implementation, GoodNotes is not able to import Docs or Slides. I know there are workarounds, but those add too many steps to my workflow. It would be great to be able to import and mark up a document or set of slides.

Create synced blocks across pages
Have an option for a block of content to be copied to another page and any edits on either copy shows up on the other one. So for example, you could have a block of writing on a monthly calendar page and then sync it to a specific day's page so you don't have to rewrite everything. What you write on the monthly calendar for that day automatically shows up on the individual day page also.

Shape Options
I would love if we could draw circles from a center point as well as doing it with the draw and hold feature. I find myself often drawing circles and it gets annoying having to draw them and then select it with the lasso and then move it to where I want it. Being able to draw from a center point would be very helpful for me.
