1. Full screen Editing

   Please have a way to edit a document in full-screen mode; i.e. hiding all toolbars but still able to edit a document.

   E.g. double tap with two fingers to hide/show toolbars without leaving edit mode

   This is legitimately the only thing holding me back from using Goodnotes 5 all the time

2. search function customizable to search select folders

   Customizing searches or ability to archive old documents

   When searching I do not have the ability to select which folders to search in. As a medical student, I use goodnotes for every lecture as well as all textbooks and have an excessive amount of files. The ability to search within a selection of folders would limit the amount of search results I have. Another option could be to offer an archive function that removes certain documents/folders from future searches.

3. add graphing

   I use this app mainly for calc. I am a college student working on my masters in electrical engineering. I would love to see charts, graphs and diagram formats to add to my page, much like how it works on pages and word. also I'd love to see dotted lines, "fill in" shading, different pen affects etc. I love the app, I can;t wait to see what else you guys add to it. 4. Make it possible to add GIF’s and short VIDEO CLIPS

   You could select gallery and add your video/GIF. Then you’d be able to move it anywhere in the page and make it any size you want. You could also drag and drop GIF’s directly from other pages. And if possible, record short videos directly in GoodNotes.
   The videos and GIF’s would keep repeating in a loop while they are on the screen. It’d be good to be able to pause and resume them with a touch, and for there to be a option to have a timeline at the bottom of videos (so that you can scroll through) but you could choose to hide it!.

   It would very handy, for those who are learning sign language, medical students who are learning maneuvers and procedures and so much more...

6. Color picker tool, enabling to add color of TEXT to presets, show the actual hex color code

   I text a lot and I also like to keep the color tone of my notes but the app doesn’t have the feature to add the color to presets for the text function. It also could be more convenient if there’s the color picker tool so I can keep the tone of my notes whenever I text or write. Lastly, I notice that the hex code of the color is ALWAYS #FFEEFF. As I said before, GoodNotes doesn’t have feature of setting text color to presets so I intent to remember the hex code instead but it’s still FFEEFF... I can fix the problem by using copy-paste but it might be more professional if the app has the color picker tool and can add color of text to presets (If only 2 features are added, showing the hex code may not be necessary). Thank you.

8. Please make the new floating toolbar OPTIONAL and provide the option of reverting to the old toolbar

   The latest update introduced an obnoxious and distracting floating toolbar below the primary toolbar, taking up more space and reducing the amount of room there is to actually write on the document. Further, it’s shorter in width, so you have to scroll more to find different highlighter colors, pen options, etc.

   The new toolbar offers LESS functionality than before and I didn’t see anyone complaining or asking for it to be overhauled for everyone. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Please introduce a toggle where you can choose whether you want this new toolbar or the old one, as it’s fine if it’s an option but the old toolbar that a lot of people liked should also be an option still.

9. When I rotate an object, I want to be able to rotate it without re-sizing; the two features should be separate.

   The rotate, resize objects is currently tied to together, therefore when I just want to rotate an object I can’t unless my hand is really steady otherwise it resizes the object as well - these two functions have to be separate.

10. Add it on Windows!

    Please add good notes on windows! I have a surface book and want to use good notes so bad but I can’t. It’s forcing me to use one note instead. I don’t want to buy an iPad when I have a perfectly capable tablet. Please add this to windows software!!

    I'm Korean high school student. So, I have to use superscript fuction when i have to do some assignments. - especially in math, geometry - I really hope that I would be able to use 'superscript fuction' asap. Thx :)

12. Pen options

    Add more pen options please! I don't like how my handwriting looks in this app but I love everything else this app has to offer. Notes Plus offers pen types that resembles my handwriting but is limited in areas where this app excels. Adding more pen options would eliminate the competition altogether for me.

14. Nextcloud support

    Please add nextcloud support for backing up notes. The German government is now switching to it and is just a great solution for self hosting clouds. Also many universities (at least in Germany) use it.

15. Math Requirements

    Hi, these are my suggestions that I hope you will develop it in this app:

    1- add Cartesian coordinate system because draw it every time is uncomfortable.
    2- I hope that moving from one page to another will be from up to down not from left to right because that gives you sensibility of the connections between the pages or let this as an option in the app.
    3- Support right-to-left languages such as Arabic, please. We are suffering from this.
    4- When we choose to write why don't you put a color box on the top of the page with the most famous colors such as blue and red so we can change the color easily.
    5- Put an option to add a table and a chart.
    6- put a basic figures of some famous functions such as X^2 and 1/x.

    Please look at these suggestions.

16. Change Nav Color (or Hide)

    I’d love to see the nav bar color changed to a more neutral, less distracting color.

    You could probably consider this a purist request, but I’ve always found the navy blue navbar to be unappealing and distracting.

    I’m not too interested in offering exact solutions, because I trust that good developers will make good decisions regarding UI and implementation.

    But if I thought about it for a moment, potential solutions could be:

    ● Navbar colors that match the journal cover
    ● Simple user preference w/ preset colors and a custom color swatch option
    ● The ability to change the navbar for each notebook (wow, actually this would be great because it’d be very indicative of what you were focused on, and could coincide with the cover)
    ● Idk, what do you think would be a good solution?

    Another user mentioned hiding the navbar - that’s probably an even better idea, so the page is the full size of the screen.

    Ultimately this suggestion came about because I do like the idea of writing in an app that’s all white like a piece of paper.

    I don’t need fancy skeuomorphism, just for the entire UI to be color matched with the paper.

    I included some mockups that help to showcase this idea, which could even be supported with dark pages.

17. Add multiple “Save a default text box style”

    I used good notes for many different things, college note taking, filling in pdf documents, bullet journal. Please add an option to save more than one default text.
    The font i use for note taking sometimes is too small for the font required to fill in documents. And my bujo is dark themed so the font needs to be white. It gets tedious having to change it everytime i open a text box depending on the document i am working on
