  1. Es sollte Zeichengeräte in Goodnotes geben

    Ich nutze Goodnotes viel im Mathematikunterricht für Tafelanschriebe usw. Ich finde das Programm super, vor allem der Präsentationsmodus ist genial.
    Was mir noch fehlt sind Zeichengeräte (Lineal, Geodreieck -> so ähnlich wie in der Notizen App von Apple), damit könnte ich Goodnotes noch viel umfassender nutzen...

    Any chance of more modern notebook covers (e.g. Leather, black covers)? And more writing tools, like pencils, various types of pen?

  3. Hide navigation bar and optionally hiding the editing bar for screen space efficiency

    Even after hiding the status bar, GoodNotes still consumes screen real estate. Let's add an option to hide the navigation bar with the gallery and search and share button. It's not very useful most of the time while working on one document.

    Likewise, hiding the editing toolbar gains space but then editing is turned off. The toolbar could simply fold itself into one button in the top right corner so that the user can focus on the document and the text they are writing and get it back when they need it by tapping the screen or using a touch…

  4. Add/modify touch gestures for undo and redo something

    I would like to have an fast way to undo or redo something without aiming for the small buttons all the time. Maybe it is possible to implement a two-finger-swipe area to cover this function. Even if it would be only active during the editing in the zoomed window mode this would be increase the workflow.

  5. pointer and curtain

    As a teacher i use the app as an interactive whiteboard with a beamer and Apple TV (Airplay). This offers me a very good and cheap smartboard (interactive whiteboard) The app is almost perfect, but i am missing a simple pointer and a curtain to hide solutions from the pupils, when we are filling out a task sheet together.
    Also nice was a feature to record a lesson, like in doceri or have a timeline.

  6. Lock an object size while rotating

    When you rotate an object after using the lasso, it is not possible to keep the size because the functions are mixed. Resizing and rotating should be two functions or you need to be able to lock the size while rotating.

  7. hyperlink

    There are so many duplicate ideas for hyperlinks the votes are not adding up so I'm submitting another one, hoping you will read this and combine to see the impact on the product requests!!

    PLEASE ENABLE COPY PAST OF A HYPERLINK . I want to have a notebook where I copy paste hyperlinks form a website and I can then come back to my notebook and click the link to launch the website! Please Please Please!! This is such a critical feature if your trying to work in a single note app!

    Aveces uno necesita crear una tabla rápido y dibujarla es lento, deberían incluir esta opción. Serviría bastante. Saludos

  11. Align typed text with a template's horizontal bars.

    Text box positions and fonts should be aligned such that the multi-line typed text will be aligned with the current template's horizontal bars. This alignment should be the default initial behavior whenever a new text box is created.

    It would be handy in order to make powerpoint type notebooks using screenshots if I could select multiple at the same time.

  13. Improve Audio recording

    I love this new feature added to GoodNotes 5. It can become better by:
    1. Syncing the page with the audio, which is by showing the number of the current page in which the recording is being played.
    2. Adding the ability to Rename the Audio Files.
    3. Adding the ability to export the Audio Files.
    4. Recording pixel by pixel which results in smoother writing when recording is replayed.

  14. Improve Audio Recording Feature

    I love the new audio recording feature but find a few issues with it and potential improvements.
    1. Once you’ve recorded, to play a recording it plays the first ever recording and you need to find the spot for your latest one. I think it would be more logical to automatically play the latest recording, especially for people with large notebooks who don’t want to skip through hundreds of previous audio recordings.
    2. Be able to rename audio recordings or have GoodNotes use AI to rename the audio recordings (name it the title of the page, or do like voice…

  15. Clear All Annotations

    While there is a "clear page" option for clearing annotations for individual pages, it would be helpful if there was a "clear all annotations". This way, one could clear all annotations on every page in that notebook/file, rather than scrolling through each page one by one and manually clicking the current "clear page". I ask for this feature because as a college student, I like using Goodnotes for my practice exams, and it would be helpful if I could clear all my annotations from all the pages in my practice exam and start it fresh again.

  16. Typing should auto “next page”

    Text (which should fit ON THE PAGE LINES !) should auto “next page” so you can continuously flow through typing and not worry about going to the next page, making a new text box, fitting it, resizing the text to fit the grid lines

  17. Please make the new floating toolbar OPTIONAL and provide the option of reverting to the old toolbar

    The latest update introduced an obnoxious and distracting floating toolbar below the primary toolbar, taking up more space and reducing the amount of room there is to actually write on the document. Further, it’s shorter in width, so you have to scroll more to find different highlighter colors, pen options, etc.

    The new toolbar offers LESS functionality than before and I didn’t see anyone complaining or asking for it to be overhauled for everyone. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Please introduce a toggle where you can choose whether you want this new toolbar or the old one, as…

  19. Split, name and export Audio Recordings

    As of today we have Audio Recordings in GoodNotes - thank you!

    You can simply forget to switch off recording, ending up with a long audio recording between lectures or meetings - it would be nice to have a functionality to split an individual audio recording in 2. Therefore it will be possible to delete needless ones.

    Custom naming of audio recordings will make it easier to navigate between them.

    Exporting audio recordings within a single notebook in bulk and individually as .mp3 file would be very convenient as well.

  20. Rotate object without resizing

    Often, I want to rotate an object but want to it stay the same size. It would be nice to lock the size when rotating. A similar function to lock rotation when resizing would also be very nice.
