Color Picker
I would like to see a menu icon that would allow you to change the color of your ink or highlighter based on the next clicked on color. This would make switching colors to a previously used “standard” color much faster and would ensure that you had the exact same color used throughout the document for a type of note or section...

I agree. I keep looking for this every time I go to GoodNotes, but I always am disappointed when I can’t find an eye dropped color picker tool. Please come up with a solution, if you care enough to help out your customers with these ideas.

I hate that I have to download a whole different app to get the color picker eyedrop tool. Ridiculous that it’s not a thing in Goodnotes

I will now use and support Notability until this feature is added. We have been asking for an eyedropper and/or a color picker for over 4 YEARS, and it is now obvious to me that you either don't read these suggestion boxes from your customers or you just don't care.
Notability has had this feature for as long as I can remember. Procreate has it. Photoshop has it. But for whatever reason, Goodnotes insists on maintaining the antiquated, time-consuming, inefficient "hex input" system. I do understand certain limitations that prevent you from easily adding highly requested features (adding the ability to record lectures in sync with handwritten notes, for example), but not this one. Adding an eyedropper is not that difficult to do, and yet, you refuse to do it. That suggests tone deafness to customer needs and requests that I can't respect, let alone support.
I love Goodnotes and am sad that it has come to this. All things considered, I think you're the superior note taking app on the market for any number of reasons. But failure to have an eye dropper is such a limitation to creative works that it's truly a deal breaker.

I think that the addition of a tool so that you can sample a colour in the document so that you can then use that as a colour for your pen would be very useful, as it would alleiviate my problem of having to search the colour wheel for ages for the exact match

A color picker would be nice

Like in the app procreate, I could really use a way to hold down on a color that’s in a document, and have that color appear. Sometimes I will use a custom color but don’t save it and don’t have a way to get it back.

Hello
It would be cool if you could use a color finder tool like in photoshop where one can hover over a color from a photo and it can be saved in one of the color pre-sets -

Needing to amend text written in a different colour earlier in my document, I rub out what needs to be changed, but often have to select the right colour from the toolbar as the colour I have currently selected is not the colour my earlier written text was in. GoodNotes should implement an option where the colour of the text rubbed out by the eraser tool is automatically selected after erasure for easy modification of earlier notes.

Integrate an eye dropper tool to identically match colors previously used or that are present in photos that have been added to notes. Similar to that of one in Photoshop and other like products/apps

In the color picker, add an option that lets you tap somewhere on screen and use the HEX color value of wherever you tapped as a color, EX. i want to use a certain orange of a picture i took so i choose color picker, tap on the orange, then i can draw with it.
P.s. goodnotes is wonderful thank you!
