Scroll PDF vertically
It is nice to be able to go to the next page going down instead of going left. It would also be nice if scrolling down to the next page continuous without jumping to the next page, so you can see the bottom of one page and the top of the next page.
Vertical scrolling is supported in GoodNotes 5. It can be set in the … menu of a document or in the document settings.

The bottom part of the page is very hard to use for writing, because there is no support for vertical scrolling.
Using an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil makes hitting the bottom third of the page highly unfomfortable without a continous scrolling option.
It should not be too hard to add - please do! -

Switched to Noteability for this one feature. So frustrating that Goodnotes won't implement this, because if they did it would be my go to app...instead I use Noteability.

I am a huge GoodNotes fan, but unfortunately will move to Notability (only) because of the vertical scrolling. Going back and forth when working with mathematics is very irritating.
Hopefully vertical scrolling will be soon implemented and I'll go back to GoodNotes. Except for the scrolling, I prefer it to Notability for everything else.

The ability to insert lines is what really matters here. I think it would be hard to do without a continuous page. This would really open up some great possibilities when taking notes. For example. The prof gives the outline. You write the main points. Then as he is filling in details, you are able to expand the sections as needed to fill in details. The page would have to extend vertically to do it. I would still want to flip pages. Could be useful as topics are changing and I actually prefer it generally... But to be able to insert lines would really take it to the next level.

Please let originally vertical pages to be viewed in fullscreen horizontal. Look at the attachment. Because the letters are too small in vertical view, i change the ipad to horizontal view. But in the first screenshot at Goodnotes it's not fullscreen, and i need to zoom every time. I want it to be like in the second screenshot, it is from Adobe Reader app, it automatically makes it fullscreen horizontally and i can read easier and scroll faster. Please make it like that in Goodnotes too.

I am begging you o produce a version with this ability with page breaks to designate individual pages. It would be helpful when using as notes for public speaking.

I think the app has increasingly become too focused on being like digital paper and less like a note taking app. The continuous vertical scrolling is a pro that real notebooks don't have but digital note taking apps can have. Like penultimate, and notability, goodnotes should have that too. More, the printing of pdfs from notes should be improved in the way that, if I choose to print in white canvas it should center my notes, as penultimate and notability do.
All things said, if I had to say it in one word what is missing from the app and making me go notability more is the "flow" of note taking in goodnotes. The lasso tool is what keeps me using it for pdfs because no other app has one as good as goodnotes's.

Please add vertical scroll so that I can switch from notability in my teaching use.
