Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.

Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more

Why ask if you’re not going to listen? Allllllll these requests for password protection and you release an update, WITHOUT password protection? What’s your reasoning? You could at least share that with us.

I moved over from penultimate - delighted with the app except penultimate has a passcode lock. I use GoodNotes for journaling but my daughter uses the iPad sometimes and I really don’t want her coming across my scribbling by accident. iPads get passed around in families. A pass lock on private notes is essential. Apples notes app also has a lock. Come on!

I have all of my journals from the past 20 years archived on Good Notes. I would greatly appreciate being able to keep those journals private. This seems to me like an absolutely necessary feature for any note taking app. Please include this feature soon.
