Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.

Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more

You really need to have password protection. It is the only reason I'm using other programs at the moment. Hope you consider adding it.

I have recently done EXTENSIVE comparison as a business user and daily journal logging tool.
Goodnotes shines in many areas BUT 2 critical areas and 2 difficult areas if implemented will blow competition miles apart!
1. Password protection of notes!
- Come on, its 2019 and i think users have been asking for this for many years.2. Lack of Pencil tool in writing OPTIONS
- Either its deliberate or the one that program this product does not think any one cares. But literally every one of the decent competitor has itDifficult areas
4. Lack of Evernote support
5. Lack of Recording
OKAY, i get it ... maybe striking an agreement with evernote is difficult and including recording will make indexing a whole lot challenging .....
but hey, the simplicity and ability to rotate pictures, fast handwriting recognition is a plus.

Love the app but half the time I have to use one note due to sensitive notes require password protection And I can’t do it here! Please integrate with Face ID and touch id ASAP.

Please add this feature. I would love to use this app for keeping track of some expenses, but some things are important and need to be locked from others so they are not accidentally deleted.
Password protecting on a per notebook/folder basis would make this perfect for so many things.

This is the only reason I didn’t purchase the app. Also 256 encryption is essential no one can afford to have private or work notes vulnerable if the mobile device is lost or stolen
