Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.

Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

Fortunately I also have Notability for my iPad Pro which gives you the option to lock and password notes. Until GoodNotes gives us the option to lock notes I can’t completely switch to GoodNotes.

This request for a very simple and much needed feature was posted in 2013 and it still hasn't been implemented?? I think it's good to assume this forum is pointless and doesn't get read.

I actually thought GoodNotes has this function when I bought the app! I would love to protect some of my notebooks with a password. Pleaseeeeee add this function.

Just because the original post was on April Fool’s day, doesn’t make this request a joke. This is a very serious issue. I am surprised and disappointed that after six years, password protection is not a feature in GoodNotes 5. I admit, password protection was not a feature that I initially considered, but now I wish I had not purchased this app. :(

Can no longer use your product until this is added. I have about 25 employees waiting to purchase your app as soon as you enable password protection. As of now we cannot legally use it, which is a total bummer. I love this app otherwise.

This really needs to be a feature. I’m working on a business and I keep names and addresses of my clients. Please add this feature!
