Dropbox sync
You definitely have to include the Dropbox sync function as realized in goodreader. this would be essential!
And I'm convinced a bunch of people will be willing to pay more for your app

As technology continues to advance, many people worry about the future of work. Will robots and artificial intelligence eventually replace humans in many industries? While it's true that automation is having a big impact on the job market, there is one area where humans will always have an advantage: working with their hands.
Working with your hands has always been an important part of human civilization. From building homes to creating works of art, our ability to manipulate and shape the world around us has been a cornerstone of our progress and development. And in today's world, where so much of our work is done on computers and other digital devices, the value of working with your hands has only increased.
Why is this the case? For starters, working with your hands allows you to develop a different set of skills than you would with digital work. You learn to be patient, precise, and detail-oriented, and you develop a sense of spatial awareness that is hard to replicate in a virtual environment. These skills are valuable in a wide range of industries, from construction and manufacturing to art and design.
In addition, working with your hands can be incredibly fulfilling. There's something deeply satisfying about creating something with your own two hands, whether it's a beautiful piece of furniture or a functional piece of machinery. This sense of accomplishment can boost your self-esteem and confidence, and it can also help you develop a greater appreciation for the world around you.
Finally, there's the issue of job security. While it's true that some jobs are being automated, there will always be a need for skilled workers who can work with their hands. From plumbing and electrical work to carpentry and metalworking, there are countless jobs that require physical skills and expertise. By developing these skills, you can help ensure that you always have a valuable place in the job market.
In short, working with your hands is more important than ever in the age of artificial intelligence. By developing physical skills and expertise, you can set yourself apart from the competition and ensure that you have a valuable place in the job market. And perhaps more importantly, you can experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from creating something with your own two hands. https://experttoday.pro -

Dropbox automatic backup is already an option. Settings > Automatic backup > Cloud storage > Dropbox > done. Next: Settings > Automatic backup > Sign in. Lastly, edit what you want to back up, where, and the name

I’ve loved GoodNotes, but am going to have to switch because I cannot connect to third party storage. I need to access pdf files from a server, like DropBox. I need to make notes that I can access from other apps. Specifically, I have a collection of journal articles that I need to annotate and read from multiple apps. Please add this functionality and I will come back

Please implement this, it has also been suggested in other threads (https://feedback.goodnotes.com/forums/191274-customer-suggestions-for-goodnotes/suggestions/16780321-full-synch-with-icloud-or-dropbox)

GoodNotes is awesome but nowadays I use Adobe Acrobat Reader only because I have Dropbox account and I need to share my annotations to another devices and persons.
I realy don't knows why too simple funcionality is not present in a powerful app how GoodNotes.
Is it a functionality to GoodNotes 6 ?

Please make Dropbox Sync possible. We are going to implement Goodnotes in our company as a creative and collaboration tool, but when working with Apple managed IDs for business the iCloud storage space is limited to 5GB and can't be extended in this case, which is a joke.
We already pay for a massive amount of Dropbox storage space so why not allowing a Dropbox workflow. Would be even consequent to have the ability to open files saved on custom locations like dropbox directly without importing/exporting the file. Because when using iCloud we don't have direct access to the data stored on the iCloud. Having control over our data and storing our files natively in our dropbox folders is crucial for professional use. -

Goodnotes Team - Why has this still not been done? Syncing to Dropbox should not be hard and the choice of where a user stores his/her data is personal and becoming more and more important to businesses such as yours. Our choices should be respected. Users are asking for it. Why aren't you delivering?

I'm already paying for masses of space with DropBox, I don't see why I should have to pay/start ANOTHER storage subscription with iCloud, just because you choose not to be compatible. Agree with others here, you need to make it explicit pre-sales. It wasn't until I had installed across iOS and OSX (both purchases) that I realised a THIRD purchase was necessary; an ongoing iCloud subscription. REALLY great app, this is the only but major disappointment.

I bought GN5 but I cannot sync it with Dropbox
Wish I had known this before I bought it
I’ll have to find another app -

I refuse to switch to GN5 without the Dropbox backup of GN4. With iPadOS, I can’t do split screen with GN4 and I doubt the team is going to update it to provide that support. So, if the team is going to continue leaving this feature on the back burner after releasing an incomplete “upgrade” and GN4 can’t utilize new features of iPadOS, I’ll just have to switch to Notability. iCloud is trash and not at all adequate for people working with multiples devices or operating systems.

Too bad.
