You definitely have to include the Dropbox sync function as realized in goodreader. this would be essential!
And I'm convinced a bunch of people will be willing to pay more for your app
I'm already paying for masses of space with DropBox, I don't see why I should have to pay/start ANOTHER storage subscription with iCloud, just because you choose not to be compatible. Agree with others here, you need to make it explicit pre-sales. It wasn't until I had installed across iOS and OSX (both purchases) that I realised a THIRD purchase was necessary; an ongoing iCloud subscription. REALLY great app, this is the only but major disappointment.
I bought GN5 but I cannot sync it with Dropbox
Wish I had known this before I bought it
I’ll have to find another app
I refuse to switch to GN5 without the Dropbox backup of GN4. With iPadOS, I can’t do split screen with GN4 and I doubt the team is going to update it to provide that support. So, if the team is going to continue leaving this feature on the back burner after releasing an incomplete “upgrade” and GN4 can’t utilize new features of iPadOS, I’ll just have to switch to Notability. iCloud is trash and not at all adequate for people working with multiples devices or operating systems.
No prob. Add it and I will pay for it as I can not use iCloud sync
I might have to leave as well if No Dropbox sync because I am using 2 iPad n iphone

I've been waiting for GoodNotes 5, thinking it would finally offer Dropbox Sync. GoodNotes functions well, but I'm leaving it as I cannot continue to use iCloud.
No sync to Dropbox with Good Notes 5? That’s a dealbreaker.
I can't acces my files from icloud. Backup data won't work either in pdf nor in goodnotes format. Really disturbing.
Dropbox is essential. Otherwise I have to stay in GoodNote4.
Lack of Dropbox sync function is the only reason I use PDF Expert to read/annotate PDFs.
I will not buy goodnotes 5 because it doest include the sync woth dropbox

iCloud is not loading my files. I get the forever spinning thing. I am so fed up with iCloud problems. I want to use my Dropbox but cannot sync between my MacBook and my iPad now. PLEASE, this has been asked for years now - please add this.

Really needed a Dropbox sync! I use good notes for work and I need to have all my files backed up automatically.
Please make this happen
Please include Dropbox sync!
any progress on this, 4 years in??
And please make it password-protected (AES256 encrypted).

Please improve the sync options. I don't use iCloud, and don't plan on doing so either. Please incorporate sync with other platforms, such as dropbox or google drive!
Without seamless sync, this brilliant app is nearly useless, as I need to access my notes on my iphone as well as on my laptop (apart from on my ipad, obviously)... Until this is fixed, I'm forced to use other apps to get the job done =(
This app is far superior to the competition in so many aspects, so I'm very disappointed that this feature was suggested more than 4!!! years ago and still hasn't been implemented.
Please, please, PLEASE add a more reliable sync option. I have been forced to "nuke and pave" my iPad Goodnotes 3 times in the past week alone. I love GoodNotes, but I don't trust it anymore - you're going to force me to look for an alternative if I can't get a trustworthy sync option.
I hate iCloud, and use it for nothing. There have already been issues (luckily, thankfully, hopefully fully fixed now, thank you!) but I really want 2-way sync and backup with Dropbox, not with iCloud. Would like to create and edit on iPad, view/edit on iPhone, and view/print/refine on computer, using Dropbox as the one source for sync.
