Hope you guys can give us this small feature which would save us so much time. The feature is already available in the automatic outlines and I feel like this feature can easily be implemented to custom outlines as well. Thanks

I don’t understand how this idea does not get more traction. I have a notebook with 900 pages and no way to organize it. I use a notebook per project. Using folders and a million notebooks, one per section does not make sense. Real-world notebooks have dividers.

I would like to see a different kind of page, a divider page that when created gets automatically added as a bookmark so you can easily change sections.

Waiting four years for this, scrolling endlessly through outline items... about to code my own notes app :P /S

This should be made available for GN5 as well. The feature can’t be more complex to implement than AI and GN 4 AND 5 users have been requesting it forever

Yes! This would be so much helpful. I thought this would come with goodnotes 6 but it didnt 😢

I would really like it if we were able to select a text/handwriting within the notes and add it as an outline instead of having to choose a full page. Also, I would like the option to create sub outlines within an outline!

Seriously I would love this. It’s currently one of the reasons I really don’t use the outline feature because I really want the ability to have the sub-outlines in GoodNotes, because I’m always creating my own. Though if I had this feature of sub-outline in outlines I would for sure always be using the outlines feature

It would be great if we could have sub titles within the outlines. An outline that can hide/expand subtopics.

This is definitely needed and makes no sense as to why AI is included in the updates $23 version but not this? If it’s possible with PDF’s downloaded, why can’t users do the same? Scrolling through multiple outlines and multiple pages is getting old!

I have to add an outline for each new thing I write. But I would love to be able to group the so they can collapse. I have to scroll so much to get to what I want to get through because I have so many! I thought with the new features that would be done already since I see something similar has been proposed in 2017! For $23 I should be able to group my things into one heading. The way it is when I download a planner from YOUR own market. Please. The scrolling is getting old.

I work with around more than 150 pages and sometimes even till 300…there are lot of chapters and a lot of topics and subtopics …I would love if there is option of creating sub outlines which will make my life a lot easier

I'd really love a feature like this as well, I've been consolidating most of my goodnotes use to a single document so that everything is in one place and easily searchable. I try to consistently use the custom outline feature to keep it all organized, and having several different levels of collapsible suboutlines like Arianne suggests would be really helpful in improving that organization.
