Clear All Annotations

While there is a "clear page" option for clearing annotations for individual pages, it would be helpful if there was a "clear all annotations". This way, one could clear all annotations on every page in that notebook/file, rather than scrolling through each page one by one and manually clicking the current "clear page". I ask for this feature because as a college student, I like using Goodnotes for my practice exams, and it would be helpful if I could clear all my annotations from all the pages in my practice exam and start it fresh again.

    Often, I get to teach multiple sections of a course. This apparently easy to implement feature will surely help teachers and students a lot. Please implement this feature as soon as possible.

    Small tip to get the document without annotations: Go to "Share and Export", click "Export all", Share it as a pdf and do not tick the "include annotation" button. You will get the document as a flat pdf with none of your annotations. Then just reinsert the pdf document as a new goodnotes document.
    This worked for me :)

    Goodnotes team please please please add the feature to clear all annotations with one click from the entire document. Especially as an instructor it's an extremely useful feature to have. And it should be a basic functionality to add.

    this is a deal breaker for me.
    Documents and Notability has had this feature for a while.

    I teach code on zoom and show PDFs all day long. clearing the annotations on 200 pages one at a time just isn’t feasible

    As a teacher, I also desperately need a clear all option. Would make my life easier! I cast my good notes for my students to see. I love this app aside from the clearing options.

    I agree! A "clear entire document" feature would be very useful.

    I use goodnotes in a similar way. A clear document feature would be wonderful. I have multipage docs I work with on a screen with my classes and would love to be able to clear all of the annotations instead of one page at a time, or having to know where I keep a clean copy at.

    I am a tutor and sometimes reuse the same documents with different students. This means I have to manually clear notes on every page which can become very time-consuming. An option to select which pages one would like to clear with the option to clear all pages would be so beneficial. Especially when going through documents with lots of pages.

    I wholeheartedly agree.

    I found this thread because I was looking for a way to erase all annotations that I wrote on the file. As others mentioned here, I also like to use practice questions, and it would be phenomenal if you could make an update where a whole file could be erased in one go.

    Perhaps, just like you can select some pages or select all, there could be an option to clear just the selected items or the entirety of the file.

    Strongly agree.

    I started practicing cursive writing on PDF files. In stead of clearing each page's hand writing exercise, I would like to clean up multiple pages, or all pages' exercise so that I can do the drill again. Currently, I just delete the whole PDF file and then import the PDF file from my Google drive.
