I’d like to request a native two-page viewing mode, as it would make studying and reading much more efficient.

The Issue: Reading textbooks, reviewing lengthy PDFs, or using digital planners is a bit restricted when we can only view one page at a time. While we can use the iPadOS split-screen to open two Goodnotes windows, it clutters the screen with duplicate toolbars and reduces the actual workspace.

The Solution: A built-in toggle to view two consecutive pages side-by-side, exactly like an open physical notebook or book.

Having a clean, native two-page layout would make comparing notes and reading across pages so much smoother and more natural. I’d appreciate your votes if you agree this would improve your workflow!

I am sure the post mentions double page view, like a notebook, is not the same as two windows.
I think people want to feel the flipping of a notebook page horizontally and be able to write in something like an open notebook. Seems so much more authentic.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I'm really interested in seeing more support for the "Two Page View" feature. It seems like it would be a game changer for reading PDFs like a real book. I would love it so that there's an easier way to view two pages from the same notebook at once in the same window. It's a pain to have to open a whole new window and then re-open everything just to see two pages. I would love if there was just an option for Goodnotes to do it without me having to go through all this hassle.

I’ve been craving this too, especially when I’m juggling lecture notes and a PDF textbook side by side and my screen starts feeling like a shoebox. The workaround with multiple windows feels clunky, and zooming in and out all the time gets old fast. A proper two-page view would make studying feel smoother, almost like flipping open a real notebook. I’d use it daily on both iPad and Mac.

Splitting the screen with two separate Goodnotes windows has been my workaround, but it's clunky and eats up space fast. A true two-page view inside one notebook would make long documents feel way more natural to read and flip through. I'd love being able to keep an outline or reference page on the left and write on the right without juggling windows like a circus act.

I would like to suggest a feature that could improve the user experience.

Currently, Goodnotes displays documents in a single-page view. It would be very helpful to have an option for a two-page spread (double-page view), similar to reading a physical book.

Additionally, it would be very useful to view two pages side-by-side or work in a dual-page (split) mode while taking notes.

This feature would greatly improve studying efficiency and overall usability.

Please allow users to view two or more pages of the same document side-by-side within a single window, similar to Microsoft Word’s multiple-page view. This would make it easier to see consecutive pages at once without having to scroll continuously.

To be able to edit two documents at once, meaning two tabs open next to each other (different documents) with one toolbar to share.

I'm a student using Goodnotes on a non-Apple laptop and would really appreciate an option to look at 2 documents at the same time or take notes on one side and read on the other.

I want to view two pages of the same PDF at the same time (like a book) Adobe Acrobat, Mac Preview and PDF Expert can all do it. Side by side split window is not the same and bad for viewing and navigating through the same document. It would be life changing!!

I want to use side by side screen view, i understand that on ipad we have split screen but its not the same, i want to have the split screen in the app, and if i use a textbook i want to add documents specificlly to that textbook
