Locking Objects
Need to be able to lock individual items. In planners sometimes the layout itself is a sticker. Need to lock that so I can move the stickers above without the bottom one moving.
Thanks for your suggestion! We’re happy to share that we’ll be introducing the ability to lock objects very soon.
We’ll keep you posted once it goes live.
Stay tuned for app updates and announcements!

I personally found this function from notability to be annoying. GoodNotes has done it better, via the loop tool. You just need to select the whole thing and the mark ups will move with the image.

Agree. This is necessary in Goodnotes. Image handling in Notability is superior, but you can catch up! :)

Apple's free app Pages also has this feature. I’m starting to regret believing all the hype around GoodNotes.

This would really help people using planners on Goodnotes. They often put in page designs, like monthly calendar grids, or weekly grids or trackers as PNGS. The problem comes when they want to put and reposition images and stickers on top.
It's a feature ZoomNotes already has and is leading some people to leave Goodnotes for Zoomnotes. -

It would be nice to be able to lock a drawn vector shape to prevent erasure. I would like to be able to draw a matrix (table) and then populate the matrix with test data values. Currently, if I make a mistake and need to rease a value, the underlying column and row boundary lines will be erased also.

I import an image of a text and then I highlight the lines I want, but if I need to move the image, the layer with the highlights does not move with the image. This makes all the highlighting I did useless. BTW Notability locks the two layers together.

Would be great to lock an image in place so that we can select/erase images above without compromising the locked image.
