[Colors palette] Group colors, Colors categories, Colors folders
We should be able to make color palettes for our pen colors to make the colors easier to find.

My idea would be that you can create multiple color palettes and scroll back and forth between them.
For example, you could create a palette for work/school on the first “page” and one for your calendar on the next. -

With the colors that are incorporated with the pen, to be able to group colors together for a any specific class. One set of colors for one class, and another set for the next class.

I think it would be beneficial to add a feature where you can chose 3 colors that are automatically selected when you choose it. For example, instead of having to choose red, blue, and yellow colors, you could choose the group instead. This way the three colors are automatically selected on the hot bar.

Create folders for pen and highlighters. Hard to find colours as I have different colour palette to use.

I use adobe color to pick out sets of colors and I wish I could group them easily long-term in Good Notes 5. I would like to see the ability to assign color palette groups to a new notebook and a menu to alter the current palette. The workflow would look like:
I find a set of n hex values to import into good notes
I copy & paste, Good Notes intelligently recognizes a list of hex values and asks if I would like to import.
I accept and see a small box menu that describes “Which Notebooks to Add this Scheme to?”, “What is the name of this scheme?”, “Should there be subgroups to a scheme?”, “Should this list be split into 2 schemes?”Also a “your color year in review” type of feature. This would involve tracking which colors are used and how often in the various facets of Good Notes. “How often is text used in y color?”, “how often do you count in y color”.

I use different colors for my courses and I have to separate them with putting black between them. If we have swatches, we could just choose whichever we are working with.

I think it would be a good feature having the option to organize the pen and highlighter colors into different palettes and having the same colors for both, now we have to type the hex code twice

Pen color sets that can be grouped together so we can slide across horizontally for each group rather than scroll down continuously.

The different colours and colour gradations are assigned different meanings for me, e.g. the "common" yellow is generally important text, the "common" green are definitions, the "common" blue are examples, a more transparent blue are interesting quotations / statements.
Unfortunately, I find it difficult to remember the assignment for every shade. It would therefore be useful if I could give the different highlighter colours a name or description. As a result, I would not have to constantly interrupt my work process in order to remember the assigned gradation for different specifications. In addition, the colour gradations can be used uniformly across different literatures, which is overall more productive and the colours can then hopefully establish. -

You can already do this by long pressing on the colour and then moving it where you want it.

Have the option to be able to sort pen and highlighter colours into chosen orders so they are easier to find and make it easier to see the difference in similar colours.

If you take notes for multiple subjects/classes but use different color systems for each, it may be a good idea to make custom groups for specific colors so that they don’t get lost in a mix of all the custom colors you’ve added to the color set

Create palletes of colour pallette that go together. Similar to what Microsoft Office has, with various colour themes. This will be great.
And then allow user to great their own colour themes. Where they can add up to like 10 colours into one theme.

I would love to be able to group several ink (and highlighter) colors I most often use for a particular category and label them as personal, business, school, kids......
